Memorex cd's wont play in my car sterio

i could use some help here guys, i bought a 100 pack of memorex cds that burn up to 52x. but none of the music cds and demos i burn will play in my cars sterio. The sterio is factory and made by a/c delco. it plays all of my other burned cds just fine. is there any way to make the cd's i burn work in my cars cd player?

Well, if it doesnt play memorex disks, it probably wont play imation,khypermedia,valuedisk, or e3 works since they are all made in the same place.

You could try burning with different software, but that shouldnt make a difference. Also try playing with burn speeds.

well i can play imation, but as for the other 3 brands, i havent even heard of them. and i am not able to burn in mp3 format with my version of roxio

what other free burning programs can i use?

There are a lot of programs you can get for free, not legally though. I recommend Nero and ditch that piece of crap roxio.

Do you let the burner select the speed? If so try the discs at 10x. If it works try the next one at 20x.

If you can get them to burn at all a bit of experimentation will allow you to figure out their highest usable speed.

Personally, I won't use Memorex discs after a few bad experiences with some of their cd-rw's.

Just finalize your discs. That should solve the problem.

it plays all of my other burned cds just fine.
that he knows how to finalize a CD.

2 possibilitys
crapy burner, at high speeds some burners mess up and produce cd's that wont play in cars

crapy cd player, lots of car cd players suck for playing cd-r disks, get a name brand. best thing though is to get a good mp3 player
