my isolate is turning Siamese ?

Ive been working on my first isolate and I've been using it for some months now, lately its starting to act a bit weird, I get more and more Siamese twins popping up here and there, and some other funny mutants
I'm just wondering what could might be triggering this? is mycelium aging and its dna becomes damaged in a way? :S :crazy2:

Maybe you isolate Siamese genetics... For cubes I believe multispore give the best results. Unless you are just trying to produce a monoculture for fun, to me there is no point. These mushrooms grow like weeds on their own!

Id argue its conditions. Especially given the pinset isn't full. With that much of the universal veil remnants on the caps im guessing things were too wet in their infancy and caused some fusions

truth is I moved that tray in a humidity chamber and it kind of got a bit over misted the day before pinning, so excess humidity can trigger fusions?! wow! I had no idea!

* fusions are kindacool I guess if you watched dragon-ball growing up haha
