The moon

hi, i was just wondering if anyone else on here follows the moon cycles or has any little rituals they perform on certain phases of the moon.

Myself, after noticing some of my mood swings quarelated with the moons cycle and having trouble sleeping at night, decided to follow the lunar cycle and pay my "homage" to it. Some things i noticed were an increase in energy while the moon waxs and a decrease when it wanes... Full moon being the zenith of energetic activity and a new moon being the lowest. I also found that The new moon for me would mark the peak of a certan idea or habit i was into during the two weeks and the new moon being a time for new ideas and thoughts to occur...

So yeah anyone else "nocturnal"?

The moon cycles definately effect people in my opinion. I'm not sure why, but I've noticed this with females much more than males. I dunno though, some of my "witchy-poo" friends are all over that stuff, they worship the earth.

yeah when i first got interested in it there was alot of stuff related to witches and shamans etc... interesting stuff.... The moon as a symbol is feminin and the sun is masculin. Personally i think everyone could do with a little balance of both.

Anybody that has worked in an emergency room for a while can tell a full moon simply by the change in activity they see at work. I donno why, but a full moon causes people to do really strange, and often stupid things that they normally wouldn't do.

I tasted the moon once.  Tastes like an orange belive it or not.  I was so high, this definatly had a great effect on my mood! :smile2:

Go through the orange yesterday

I watched intently for a while to both sides, infront of me and behind me.
I was impressed to learn there was another way to look... UP!
More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction
Most amazing fact of all was the prospect of another direction when I was done with up. DOWN! Which, based on the feel through my toes would be a fine sandy beach!

Did you work in an emergency room? It would seem so by your response..What kind of changes did you see and which moon phases were they corrolated with?..... Anyways, I think I see a slight difference in the way people act with the moon phases, as well as in myself. I think there is alot of 'proof' on the matter, but what means can you measure it by, ya know?

No, but I worked with people that worked in the ER.

Basically, during a full moon the number of emergencies would increase, as would the oddness of the emergencies.
