You need pp5 lid and all.
Try a test run with one in a PC cycle and see if it melts. :goodluck:

There are "surefresh" brand "small round" containers that are PP5, with PP5 lids that are "1.0 cups / 8 fl oz / 237 mL"  That I expect are much easier to fit in a 6qt PC.  Five for a dolla.

They are green and white/clear, and are super cheap.  Like, it says they're "not for boiling".    My pack of 5/$1 came with an extra lid...

That's how cheap they are.

Ok, upon further testing, only four fit in the Presto 6qt PC.

Seriously, it is hard to get the lids on without crushing these things.  You're better off with the Betty Crocker brand ones.

You'd be even better off getting a mixture of shapes/sizes and fitting a few in there at the same time.

I can fiddle around with these to see what the best PCing situation would be if there is interest.

I've looked at those exact ones before if they are not market I'm almost positive they are not pp5 plastic. I buy the Betty Crocker ones from the dollar store

I'm quite sure they will work, I know a guy using them from Dollar Tree even though they are not marked. Sometimes really cheap stuff isn't marked.

I've used them. They survive the PC.
The lids don't snap on very well.
They're real small with high sides, so they can be a bit awkward to work with.
But you can do like 30+ in a PC run.

I like these dollar tree containers for no-pour. They're bigger and have better visibility.

I’m about to just buy some ziplocks. But I’ll throw one in there to see if it survives.
I actually noticed looser lids are alot easier for me to work with. Takes less forces to open it it the sab.

In a 6qt presto, I got two of the two cup screw top Betty Crocker containters and two of the 12oz rectangle Betty Crocker ones, as well as one of the green top surefresh ones.

They are marked pp5 with the triangle.  I don't trust them though, they're just too thin, like disposable ones you'd get from a carry out restaurant.

The ones you've got a picture of here are not the same as the flimsy ones with the green tops that I have.  For a dollar, if I really wanted to go as cheap as possible with agar, it might work.  The Betty Crocker ones seem just as beefy as the Ziplock ones though, and that's what I'd buy if I knew what I know now.

The ones I pictured are made of  thinner plastic and are cheaper feeling than any of the name brands.
But they are the easiest to see through. The lids are flat and clear, the sides don't have any texture or patterns on them.
Visibility is my biggest issue with no-pour. Those are the clearest ones I've found.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say that the green topped ones were flimsier, or that yours were bad, just that the green ones were super flimsy.

Ok so I used my loop to lay down a wild ps.cyan  print and it germinated not only that. It looks super
Good. Nothing gross at all. Looks awesome. Which is not what I was expecting with these cheep little containers. I’m going to buy a bunch of these if they hopefully still have them.
I wouldn’t recommend pcing these twice. I’m still  gonna to when I am see if they hold up haha. Also the lids are super easy to come off so be careful handling them. They are nice I love how they come off seems great for transfers.

Yeah the Betty Crocker ones from Dollar Tree are my go-to now. They're identical to the mini-rounds and about half the price, for what I can find the mini-rounds for at least. I've PC'd them about 5 times now and if anything they seem to hold up better than the glad version.

I tried these as well. The visibility is nice, but they are a bit awkward as well IMO, and they're bigger (can only fit about 12 or so in my presto), and the plastic gets brittle pretty quickly, so they don't work for tiger drops, which I'm a big fan of.

Then I use tree grafting tape to seal the plates up with works fantastic
