I hate to ask, but Agar, where?

I hate these questions, but what kind of store would sell Agar? I'd like to just be able to pick some up on the way home from work kinda deal. So any tips where I should look? I know this stuff aint at walmart.

Tough one to find locally , sporeworks carries many kinds , go to them online .

Try a health food store or oriental market. Thats where I got mine (health food store in oriental section)

Health food stores sell "agar" , damn I will have to check on that one . I searched high and low for scientific suppliers to schools and such ......got zip . Thanx for an alternative place to look .

yep I couldn't believe it when I saw it there. I got it from whole foods, a national chain.

I found agar at a health food chain called New Life. Not sure if it is a national chain though.
