I put Bohistory on ignore, weeks ago. That guy is always running around to different forums representing himself badly, talking down/talking shit to people..... which by association as a moderator gives a bad rep to this whole website.

Then he started stalking my threads, trying to bait me into an argument or reply. Really sad.

:bumpthread:

To be fair, I think we all suffer from some kind of complex. The human condition is a mental illness.

I don't take any offense to people's judgment of my lifestyle. I understand I'm an anomaly to the status quo. I've been reminded almost everyday of my life. People always dubiously ask me why I am the way I am, followed by noting how nonconformist I am, etc etc.

No matter how much they disagree with me and thereby present me an attitude, eventually they seem to come around and acquire a taste for my philosophy, and they start seeing some method to my madness. And I've actually had co-workers in the past apologize to me on the last day of work for judging me in the beginning.

Of course, breaking down knee jerk reactions, misunderstandings, stereotypes, xenophobia, distrust, prejudice, stigmas, tensions, etc take a lot of time, which is something too precious for people to volunteer out of free will.

For whatever reason, I tend to make a terrible first impression with people, which is why I absolutely shy away from small talk and party settings. My best connections have been made at work or small intimate classes in college, where people are essentially forced to get to know me.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback and support. It's helped a lot. I might make a video about this in the future just to read some of the divided opinions in the comments, including the humorous, funny scenarios you guys dreamt up.

I didn't want to ask(out of respect for privacy) but I guess it might be common knowledge... Is that you in the videos in your signature?

If so, I think that you're very interesting and your demeanor as a person is super chill and highly intellectual.

Also, I'd like to watch more of your videos.

Costco is setup for bulk purchases, but fresh to-go items may be the exception.

Rotisere chickens are more of a courtesy item for someone in a hurry that needs a quick dinner in a pinch.

Yeah I guess that's true.

I saw cinderblock at a Costco in Cleveland yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like ten rotisserie chicken in his hands without paying.

The girl who checked receipts was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the chickens and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “because of Costco pratocol,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each chicken and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Oh.

I will add, that they are on to you now, so I would not buy the chickens because they might try to spit on them or something.

But seriously not really. A re cooked chicken will be fine as long as it's heated to 165 degrees.

This entire post is about racism.

Sorry you have to deal with that OP./

Thanks for the flattery, but I'm afraid the person in the video is not me. It's an experiment that's gone awry. It's a pose. The real me is neurotic, scatterbrained, and out of control.

I have links to some videos in my signature in hopes it'll help with Google search rankings, but to no avail.

Gah, I hate to introduce "race" into the equation, because it effectively shuts down any possible thought provoking conversation. It already dooms the story black and white, leaving very little ambiguity for creativity.

I find life far more tolerable when you can view your plight as part of an idiosyncratic tragicomedy, rather than just predictable reality.

If I were to live in a idiosyncratic tragicomedy, I might just get shot by the pi9zza delivery woman.
