"scolded" to me sounds more derisive/negative.

They're just being people. Not the most fun people mayhaps but, people.

"Its the cart-full-of chicken guy again!Fillin up the rotisserie hen house again huh? Fucker."  <-- scolding.

True. Its more of a passive-aggressive type of "scolding". Not really direct, except maybe that last situation.

All I gotta say is maybe u should slow down on those chickens cinderblock.

The Costco in question is pretty nearby. It only takes me around 10 minutes to drive there.

Then why stock up so much at a time? You'd be eating fresher chicken if you just went more often.

I'm not the adventurous type. The people who take joy in the daily routine of going to the grocery store, are spontaneous with their grocery list.

Like I said, I stick to the same ingredients, so I don't wanna make more trips than necessary. It's just not efficient to do so, especially when it snows. Hosing down the salt encrusted wheels and hubcaps and bumper and everything is also not my favorite past time.

Plus, the more you go out, the more you increase your risk of getting into an accident. In my two years here, somebody hit my car while it was parked. I also hit a deer, which costed $500 deductible to get fixed.

Yeah I hear that, I hate driving too.

From the sounds of cleaning salt being too much work.
Driving being a task to scary to be worth getting groceries more than once a week.
Buying pretty much only pre-cooked food.

I would say cinderblock isn't ready to try branching out to food you need to cook yourself. Stoves are a lot of work and dangerous potentially plus you gotta clean up after yourself. Rotisserie chicken you can just eat out of the tray and use plastic forks.

Not to be mean but this really sounds like the lifestyle of someone just waiting to die.

Food safety might be a concern here.

First off, for un-refrigerated foods, 4 hours is the food safety limit. Meaning anything between 38degrees F - 160degreesF. Any longer than that, especially with protein based items like chicken, and bacteria levels can grow to unsafe/dangerous ammounts.

Secondly, In the fridge, a cooked chicken should not be kept for more than 4 days. For some of the same reasons, as well as freshness. a 5 or 6 day old chicken even if refrigerated might not be safe to eat, let alone be fresh at all.

Do you freeze a few?

Some things are more challenging to some than others. Some people are good at math some at grammar. Not really a good excuse to never learn because you didn't start with an aptitude.

IMO the "waiting to die" part was uncalled for. Not something to say to someone you think could be suffering from mental problems.

I don't assume people have mental problems. If you're with it enough to post here and drive there's no excuse. My aunt has down syndrome she takes the bus to the store to buy shit and cooks for herself pretty easy shit like boxed mac, soups, sandwich stuff. People with both physical and mental disability can do pretty good for themselves.

Someone who gets minimal enjoyment from life, as you were suggesting, may be severely depressed. Now, let's say you tell that person it sounds like they're "waiting to die". Do I need to connect the dots?

Costco is setup for bulk purchases, but fresh to-go items may be the exception.

Rotisere chickens are more of a courtesy item for someone in a hurry that needs a quick dinner in a pinch. It's Costco's way of saying, we've got your back since you're a loyal customer.

When you buy 7 chickens, you're stealing food from hungry children. Mommy just worked an 80 hour week, deadbeat Jamal ain't in the picture no more. The kids are hungry and crying and Cinderblock just scooped up the last 7 rotiserre chickens. Now, they gotta go back to a cold apartment, eat mustard sandwiches and cry.

Sounds like make changes to get enjoyment then. You can't wait for enjoyment to get started. You have to get started to get enjoyment. Or down happy pills and cross your fingers the easy way corner cut method doesn't fuck you up
Don't say a wake-up call to someone who's apathetic because they're apathetic doesn't make sense to me.
I'm guessing OP is extremely apathetic. Maybe so much to the point he has created a real measurable chemical imbalance in their body

I put Bohistory on ignore, weeks ago. That guy is always running around to different forums representing himself badly, talking down/talking shit to people..... which by association as a moderator gives a bad rep to this whole website.

Then he started stalking my threads, trying to bait me into an argument or reply. Really sad.

And some mentally ill people kill themselves rather than "waiting" to die. That is why it was a boneheaded comment to make.

They can make hot dogs or find something else to eat. Or they could write a letter to costco. That is non of the OP's business and unless there is a posted limit he can buy as many as he wants.

I don't think OP sounds like he is waiting to die. I know lots of people who eat out all the time or just eat TV dinners and that kind of thing. He said he would rather spend time with his hobbies too. I don't think that sounds like a mentally ill person. Cooking isn't for every body.

Don't even try arguing with this fool man. Just put him on ignore like I did. The more people that ignore his ignorant  standpoint the better.

I've seen you post man you seem like a decent guy. don't waste your energy on that leech.

Sorry, we should just let them continue in apathy then. Apathy causes depression. Not the other way around. You get stressed out your cortisol levels raise. Your body doesn't magically predict the future pump you full of cortisol right before a stressful situation happens so you're ready. If you're interested in being apathetic you wear a path into your brain just like sitting on a couch makes you fat. Don't make your brain fat. Our society is also apathetic. Tell people to get up and better themselves.

Haha, I don't live in a climate that can sustain chickens. They'd freeze to death. I also share my backyard with way too many nosy neighbors, and I really don't wanna open myself to any more confrontation and drama.
