It's a really interesting subject man, I highly recommend reading about it. I'm not all zen and stuff, but it's really good material towards self understanding.


I understand Buddhism well enough. Many Buddhists don't consider him a god, but many may as well, attributing to him all kinds of miracle stories, or didn't you know. Nigh supernatural levels of enlightenment, based on nothing but ancient books, being just one. So the analogy fits.

One thing I'm sure of, nobody on a mushroom forum is achieving full enlightenment on the natch.

Regarding the main question, has anybody seen any projections of 4D aliens while on super-high doses? Cause that would be the bomb imo.

The juju isn't the point of Buddhist stories, it's the learning. The process and mindfulness is the whole point. "May as well" consider Buddha a God is nonsense. No Buddhists consider him a God.

One does not simply achieve enlightenment, or they become Buddha incarnate themselves. We can count the people alive today who claim this probably on one hand. I bet a few of those are cranks too.

I never saw aliens, machine elves or other popular narratives. The things I have seen are much more strange and otherworldly. Bizarre creatures and entities. None of the people I know IRL have either.

The one thing I have seen a lot of times that is common is multidimensional sacred geometry. I can understand why people get it tattooed on them after seeing it for myself.

Its impossible to tell you if it will result in ego death, i have taken a whole oz of shrooms on top of 3 hit of acid and not had ego death, but one night i took just 5 grams and experienced death of the body(at least i thought i was dead), ego death, oneness with the universe.


It can happen at any time on any dose. Just know that once you destroy the ego there is a very good chance that you will never be the same. You may not like who you become. Its difficult for some people.

A liberal Christian would say the miracles aren't the point either, just be Christlike. Regardless, both the Bible and Pali Canon contain a ton of stories that smell like bullshit.

Cool, then we should be talking about various mindfulness techniques and comparing them individually to each other and various psychedelics. Kinda like all those LSD vs Shooms threads. Instead some Buddhist flaunts his ego by claiming some higher level of "someone he's heard of." Close enough. Many consider him supernatural with a miraculous birth and everything. You have a fancy after life scenario. If "the learning" doesn't deliver nibbana in this life, "keep going and you won't suffer as much in the next few." They even talk of hell.

Ok so last night I ate 8 grams penis envy and totally tripped my tits off and still no ego death.

Totally beautiful experience and again experienced infinity and total life affirmation and gratitude. Felt so much clarity and it was visually stunning. Moments that lasted forever. Time was infinite, space was infinite, I was infinite. The trip just never seemed to end. It was wonderful. The colours were so neon and incredible and flowed so naturally and comfortably.

My only issue was that at this dose the nausea was quite unbearable right the way through the trip. Usually it dissipates once I hit the peak. But the nausea lasted right into the come down.

I want to take the dose up to 9 and 10 grams but how am I to do that when the nausea was so unbearable?

I would try it as a tea but doesn't that shave an hour or two off the trip? I don't want that. If anything I'd like it to last longer (I have the MAOI moclobemide which I will use to increase intensity and length but I can't use it until I'm off this damn tramadol)

So in the meantime...any tips?

Mr. C,

Coupla things. First, drop the goal of ego death. You have an image in your mind of what that means to you and since you haven't had an experience which matches your preconceptions my guess is that the mushrooms (AKA your mind with the DMN turned off) is trying to take you in another direction. You're "fighting" going in that direction because you're not getting your expected result.

My suggestion is that you just give in to the experience and follow it. You might find that, in your case, your path to ego death is by a different route than heroic doses.

Second, stay pure. Don't try to enhance the experience just flow with the experience you are being given. Listen and wait has always worked for me.

Third, the nausea sucks rocks. It might be your body telling you to go in a different direction. Try tea or lemon but listen to what your body is telling you. If you still get nauseous my guess is that your body is telling you to go smaller. Listen to it.

Hi thanks for the input.

I did say a few messages above that I'm not chasing ego death any longer, if it happens it happens. And that's still the case I'm not chasing it. I'm just stating the fact that I didn't experience it at that dose.

Also I totally give in to the experience. There is no fighting whatsoever. Otherwise I wouldn't enjoy the experience especially at that dose. The experience flows beautifully and feels so wonderful. I feel totally relaxed throughout.

The reason I want to take it up to 9/10 grams is because I'm enjoying going deeper down the rabbit hole. The benefits I get from these heavy doses is just incredible. They make me feel so damn happy. The clarity and life appreciation is just unreal. I've been so totally in love with life today, and that will last for a week.

I don't agree with not enhancing the experience with an MAOI I don't see why that is a problem at all or why it should be discouraged.

If I'm getting nausea it's not my body telling me to go lower. It's my body struggling to digest the large amount of mushroom matter. So I need to find a life hack for that!

Maybe if I eat 6 grams and drink 4 grams in a tea. Maybe that will catapult me down the rabbit hole with less nausea.

Try this tea - it's what I've used for forever now.  Doesn't shorten anything IME at high doses anyway.  No nausea but don't expect to eat much before a trip like you describe.
