Your first trip and you take 4 grams?! Well, you still seem to be able to type, something I could never do on shrooms unless taking a half hour to type out a short sentence without getting distracted by the pretty colors and swirling shapes...

Once I'm back from work tonight, I'm going to post up some highlights from a trip report I made in another forum, and then the 'de-briefing' of my experience.

12:02AM: 2D visual hallucinations begin, a grid floats before my eyes

12:10AM "everything on my computer looks so strange, the way I describe the feeli[ng] is that when you go to your friends house and then he has a weird GUI and setting, thats how it is"

12:23AM "strange sensation in my body, my environment now looks very strange, my fiend recommended me to listen [to Infected Mushroom]
everything is going heavy strange now, and melting, strange mel[t]ing
the trip is on now"

12:44AM "Visual hallucinations..audiotory hallucinations
outside, the stars was amazing.
Everything has this strange vibration existing bneath it, I thought it was just my computer fans, but it is ever present even outside
I can describe it best as... a kiippa kippa kippaa
I urinated outside and an elf came near me.
everything has seeming eyeballs
Strange hallucinations,
fragmentation of sounds and I can describe it as the chattering of images and sounds"

12:49AM: "the vibration is present...
almost like how terrence mckenna says it is...
my pen has morphed into my hands "

12:59AM: "I almost sense an earthen presence in these mushrooms
everything is flowing through my hands
i hear this constant elvish whispering... The words now are no longer just being typed... they are flowing into the cpu, which is a beast harvested for mans purposes.
... everything has a wa waaaa waaa waaa feeling to it.. and everything looks amazing, I understand how in tool, they draw the humans co-existing with everything
I understand what the waa waa waa sound is now, it's the unvierse, letting me know it's glad I'm a part of it's secret now
my mouth has the sensation of pop tarts
and I realise I sat makign noises of popping in my mouth
I think this is climax... if it's not then my god... the beauty
I've been listening to Infected Mushroom - Communication
oh, I understand now, why I keep makign this noises in my mouth.. I am talking to the elves
This strange vison has over come me

1:10AM "an animal has confrontedme,
it is so strange
and lovingit knows
hearing yourself breath is definately amazing... along with being able to control the vibrations of the uverse
the elve chatter in the background..
I guess the most amazing thing is just being able to slow everything down
I mean, time goes slowly
No... what I have been saying is that breathing is a echos

1:20AM "for some reason, yo seek out the most normal music... just because it sounds so strange
everything now has a liquidy feel about it "

At 2:33AM I decided to leave the computer and listen to music lying down in my bed.

My thoughts on the trip, the next day:

The trip came in waves of power, I guess this has to do with your bodies intake of the drug. The most amazing thing though about the whole journey was the distortion of time and physical space... everything took on a liquidy quality, and moved about as odd too. Time seems to go very slow, and at times you think you have frozen in a period of time. Along with the strange time effects, the sounds were also altered too, your own voice takes on a surreal quality, and the sounds in the environment around you seem to echo and drone on, they also seem to change in pitch from low to high in a strange manner.

In line with the sounds, throughout the whole trip I felt the presense of some kind of being, an earthy feeling. The background noise to the trip was "kippa kippa kippa kippa kippa" and "waahhh waaaah wahhh waahh" I found if I made those sounds, I could have a communication between whatever being was making them.

At times your visual hallucination shows a very distorted view of the real world around you, and I found the relationship of size to be effected with the mushrooms (Example... the whole room suddenly becomes very large and you seem small, or the whole room becomes very small and you feel gigantic)

Watching my white cat move about the darkness was definately a highlit, it didn't walk accross the ground, so much as it flowed like liquid, it's body changing sizes and dimensions all the while.

I started the trip watching the milkdrop plugin in WinAmp.. but after a while I turned that off because it was boring compared to my brains hallucinations. As I mentioned in the post, you start listening to normal sounding music just because it sounds so strange... Bob Dylan - Mr Tambourine Man will never be the same in my head agian as it was.

The only bad thing in the trip that I had, later during the night I felt like I would be tripping forever, that I had gone too far. I wondered if I would ever be able to sober again. I thought about mental illness and in my mind wondered if schizophrenic people are just on a perma-trip in their life. I just reminded myself that this will pass, and I'll be fine in the morning.

Wow... anyone who is looking for an experience with a hallucinogen, mushrooms have to be where it's at. You can funtion normally pretty much, but everything is just surreal, and it takes a large effort to go about doing something that you want to do.

lmao nice first post indeed. aaaaahhh haha. mushrooms are fun im glad yer havin a good time. everyone should try mush lol. there should also be like an april 20 for mush. haha for one day the whole world stops cuz everyone thinks the walls are melting.
