For this dish I already knew it was contaminated from the source and I thought id gove it a shot on agar but what if there is a section that grows healthy mycelium in a dish with trich is it safe if removed?

Yes. That's a benefit of agar work. Being able to take a small section of clean myc and transfer it away from contaminants into another dish/Petri.

Unfortunately looks like you just have mold there...
