Growing early.

Planted some henbane seeds. A few have sprouted. I know its a bit early but they are still growing. Planted around five small pots of them and only one pot has sprouted. Might wait a while longer to plant anymore. I am also planing on growing some deadly nightshade. Got that spring feeling already.

    What am I going to do with them. Let them grow then harvest the leafs and seeds. In late summer. They have only just started growing and a few might still die because of the cold weather.

    I feel you on the spring bug, for once I'm getting into something early. I usually pick up a new plant obsession late in the growing season. Poisonous plants are fun to grow, I have to watch what I can grow though because of pets, but they definitely are an interest of mine.

    I don't know the exact temperature but its pretty cold. Not a lot of sunlight yet. Some more seedlings have sprouted and they look like they need sunlight.

    Get you a small seedling light.
    Maybe a clamp light with a cheap plant bulb?

    I did the same last year and everything went leggy on me before i could catch it.
    Somethings did well afterwards some died out.

    Lows around here are 17°F
