Fall is coming and want to grow something SPECIAL . I see datura and salvia and other ethnobotanicals. I want some feed back as to what I should/could/would grow. Any feedback is helpful.Especialy if you recommend a supplier

Most of the plants you might be interested in are either annuals, which means they will be dead in a month or two, or will need to be grown indoors. If you want to sow annual seeds in the fall for next spring, you need to wait at least 6 weeks or they will sprout and quickly die when the first frost comes. Are you growing indoors or out?

I'd reccomend one of the tricho cacti. There are tons of suppliers to be found on the net. Or you could trade items of interest on this board or spiritplants. Probably wont see much growth in the winter months but at least they are easy to keep alive and care for.

If you want euphoric, plant some poppies. Look for Papaver somniferum. Tons of good info at poppies.org.

Describe your conditions... light, temperature, humidity, room... do you want to grow indoors or out? Do you want something to use, or just something with cool collector value?

I wouldn't grow poppies if the police can come in anytime they want. Murple is right, we need a better description of your light, heat, and humidity conditions before recommending a plant.

Well unlike MJ, Poppies are much easier to conceal, and wont be found by dogs, and they are very easy to grow outside.

I think everyone should know that the McKormicks brand poppies form the spice isle at the grocery store will grow poppies that have opium in them....dont take your chances ordering through the mail...unless you want the highest potency poppy in the planet..alchemy works.com...they have to prove you knew that they were opium poppies so putting up this post blows it for me....

If your plant will get direct sun all day you could probably grow San Pedro without it going into dormancy. Pedros do contain mescaline. You were talking about growing datura indoors, do you have cats or dogs? Sometimes they will eat plant leaves, especially cats, and a plant as powerful as datura would probably kill a small animal if it ate even one leaf.

Peyote is illegal, San Pedro is not. Both are active, but you are far less likely to get in any trouble with a regular old cactus looking cactus than the much more distinctive, and outlawed peyote.

Ideal for what? Some plants may thrive in a sunny humid location. Others will die unless they're in a dry shady location. Please describe your temperature and light and other factors.

What are IDEAL conditions for San Pedro? I?ll check up on that shiznit...
