cake has yet to show any signs of pinning.
trays are still a couple days from being fully colonized..
im thinking i may have screwed this up.

I opened up a cake I thought to be dirty and it smelled good :awedance:

inspired me to make up some new cakes and the consistency turned out way better, I did a 1,1,1,1 ratio except only used 2/3 of a cup of water, things are looking up. Best of luck.

I'm unclear on how to fruit these things compared to cubes, I'm off to read about it

my grow did not pan out.. (pun intended) could not get that cake to fruit, and non of my trays colonized fully, im about to throw it all out. however i used the last bit of MS, and dripped it on 5 agar plates. im hoping putting the effort in to do this the right way will pay of! thanks good luck to you as well.
