Are you an olympic athlete XUL? Because you can make some superhuman leaps. Granted they're leaps of logic, but that could carry over to physical leaps for all I know.

AFAIK hate speech is pretty specific, regarding an intense consuming dislike of someone or some group and threatening them with physical harm. It's not wishing them run of the mill misfortune.

Hate speech is the precursor to sociopaths snapping and losing their tenuous grips on reality, and taking action to make their fantasies come true.
It's probably a good indicator of a future significant problem. Admittedly that's conjecture on my part but I'd be willing to bet someone like an FBI profiler would agree.

A good analogy is having a 6 or so year old living in your house that really likes to play with matches. If you don't address the situation, it's a safe bet that your house is going to burn down.

No, what someone might define as "hate speech" does not mean it leads to violent acts, that's a logical fallacy.

Someone getting offended is now often defined as "hate speech",  I don't want people like yourself in charge of regulating speech.

If there was some fat kid that nobody liked at school and he was getting cyberbullied to the point of  committing suicide or carrying out a mass shooting or something, yeah, I'd probably say something.

If someone sent out a nasty meme and we all had a good laugh and that was the end of it, probably not.

the governments are encouraging people to rat on their neighbors.  same with the "see something say something" when they had every american looking at a brown person wearing a turban with suspicion, when they never did anything and had nothing to do with 9/11.    it is wretched.  its called psychological warfare and it is a tool to divide.  Dont fall for that fucking shit.

I totally agree.

And every liberal in this thread defended the article call for reporting hate speech -- even if they didn't read it. Liberals don't defend speech or any freedom. For some reason, they want to kill it and defend reporting "hate speech." Especially when they can't even operationally define it!

It's obvious as of late.

all those people in government all play golf together.  this is all a play on stage.  it is all an act.  and when the population isnt worried about working two jobs just to scrape by and survive, or their loved one who is hooked on drugs, or the cancer or diseases they are fighting... when they are not worried about surviving then they are occupied by conflict of US vs THEM political bullshit.  Dont you see?

Many on the left want to censor and control the free exchange of ideas and speech.  They are NOT for freedom, they only want speech of what THEY approve of, and any disagreement is where censorship comes into play.

They use rationalizations like it leads to 'violent acts' and people might 'freakout' and it's just too dangerous. 

It'a all about control and power, when I can restrict what you can communicate with other people, I own you.

I cant encourage you enough to get the bigger picture here.  Please do your research, start looking into history.  SEE what is REALLY GOING ON so you can be a voice for other people to do the same.  Then MAYBE we can start actually changing.  When the people change, the government will change.  it is a natural "law"
