ID request - A couple of (likely) edible/medicinal finds of the day
    #25575008 -

All of these were found in Tennessee

#1 - Growing on a small piece of wood on the ground.  I didn't say any others nearby.  I wish I took a picture when I found it, as opposed to a few hours later - it looked a little more vibrantly colored.  Not much of any notable bruising.  No smell currently, although I think it had a fungus smell several hours ago.

#2 This was growing at the base of a tree (which I believe was alive) - I'm very curious to know what this is.  Some sort of laetiporus?  I've never seen a mushroom like this, but I assume this is edible (I've always heard that there are no known poisonous shelf polypores)

#3  Ganoderma australe? Based on distribution maps, this G. australe doesn't seem to grow here, but judging by pictures, this mushroom looks tremendously similar.

#4  Here's a picture of what I believe is the same species I posted above (#3) - as I was uploading pictures, I realized i didn't have a picture of the ganoderma split open, which I know helps with identification.  A picture of me actively chopping it open and a picture of the inside:

I'm going to bump this - (I know this is frowned upon - but I can't find info in MH&I rules).  I may or may not clone #1, #2, and/or #3 so I'd like to know what they are as soon as possible (I'm willing to sweeten the deal by sending a culture to a TI who IDs it )

#1 - I would like to think this is gymnopilus, but I'm probably intentionally deluding myself

#2 - Based on what I've read, I think #2 might be Berkley's polypore.  An older shroomery thread says there's a lot of genetic diversity within this species (at least one person recommended the OP contact Tom Volk), while mushroomexpert just gives me the impression that they're typically larger than the one I found.  I thought I knew all the edible shelf polypores in my area but this fungi is throwing me for a loop.

#3 - I'm still a bit lost as to what this could be.  G. australe seems to fit the criteria.  Although I'm basing this on how I know other Ganodermas look and that it appears this species "grows a new tube layer on the lower surface each year.", is white when it's ready to release spores, and releases spores in late summer/autumn (right now) Here's the link where I found this info

3&4 look like Ganoderma applanatum. Although it would also be helpful to know what type of tree they were growing off of.

I know it wasn't a conifer, but I couldn't tell you the exact species of tree.  It's possible I'll go back tomorrow; if so, I can take pictures of the tree.
