Mycelium or mold?
    #25549169 -

Hi guys,
First time growing, and wondering if someone can tell me if I have mycelium or mold. Excuse the crappy photos, it’s the best I could get with the light etc.

Thanks

Was this MS from a syringe?  Be sure to streak your plate to help isolate goodies from baddies.

No I made a little scraper and etched spores off an aluminium print, I took care to be as clean as possible rubbing alcohol frequently on benches and tools etc. as well as only opening the lid to inoculate then closing. I haven’t seen that video before though, thanks for sending it through! I’ve not streaked these, I just kind of placed spores in random spots and hoped for the best, I’ll throw these out and try that on the next ones. Also, after I do it, I’ve put them in a grown tank which has a heat mat underneath, and also the grow tank has water in it on a level underneath to create humidity, am I on the right track there? The whole boxes ended up sweating including the inside of the agar plates
