Do you know anyone that switched from gay to straight?

Just curious if anyone has any stories to share, particularly regarding gay men that started dating women and stuck to it or even got married and had kids.

What was the story?

Were they lqtently bi, or did their attraction change, or did they just decide they didn't want to be on that team anymore? What was their motivation? How did they handle the transition (ie did girls think it was odd they'd dated men for the years before meeting them?)

Please share and thanks in advance. I don't have any to contribute myself but I watched the movie "I Am Michael" and it has me wondering what normal ex gays are like.

I know about that and even the remnants of the cottage industry about that, plus Spitzer's study and all that (first scientific paper I ever read).

I'm looking for secondhand anecdotal accounts of particular individuals and the outcomes thereof.

I have only ever seen it when they were testing the gay water not going full on gay.  Usually young and not real committed besides exploring.

ive seen this happen a few times mostly with women. i bet it happens more often than u guys are making it seem. people today are more sexually fluid and open and thinking people are just gay thier whole life seems like a very outdated and basic way of thinking. i thought the shroomery would have been more progressive. so sad.

i just chalk it up to being young and horny. nothing was really labeled or open.

like i used to have a roommate who was gay and a straight friend would crash in his room when he would get too high to go home. no one really thought of it until it was like 2x a week. he eventually was sleeping with my roommate for like 6 weeks almost nightly. when it was brought up it was "
just cuddling" lol we of course didn't care but it was all a little silly, very much closet case type behavior.

i also had another friend that used to have sex with a gay friend on mine in highschool (in secret) then was "straight" although seemed to enjoy butt play with his then girlfriend. i once came home early and he was having sex with his girl and a 3rd girl.

i don't know, i personally have known i am gay since i was like 12 and knew it before just didn't know what it meant so i don't know a lot about feeling out the water. i tried to have a girlfriend when i was 15 to try and it didn't work. she only wanted to have sex and i wanted everything but sex at that time lol. it was a confusing 3 months trying to get out of it.

Regarding the married with kids men... They're usually an incredibly easy lay. :splooge:

Not that I need to say to more but I think a lot of them usually end up in that situation after years of denial and/or wanting a traditional family life and lying to themselves that they can make it work.

That's an interesting question, but kind of pointless. I used to know someone who said he used to be gay and then changed his mind. He was pretty smart but kind of sadistic.
