Some "bad trips" have actually turned out to be the best trips for my life after I came down. They were just too intense during the experience.
Other times Ive thought I was going insane. Especially when mixing salvia or DMT with synthetic cannabinoids.

Any trip, for trips lead you not to God, but away from God.
Even though you can experience the God-head mentioned in the Bible.

Trips can only show you, but the Bible says noone has ever seen God. To see God you would die.

Noone can see God!


It therefore must be the forbidden fruit, of Satan.


It may give a false sense of achievement, but all achievement is only from careful persistance and hard work.

I've had only 2 trips out of 200+ trips over the past 10 years that I'd slap the "bad trip" label on. And both of them didn't occur until just a few years ago.

Each time was fueled by paranoid/schizo delusions.

Other than that...all of my psychedelic travels have been pretty smooth sailing. It seems, though, a wee bit too much cannabis/hash and/or nitrous oxide in the midst of a trip can get me a bit delusional :smirk: .



I also had an experience two years ago with LSD & mushrooms and lots of hash, where I legitimately thought I had actual died (I still think I may have died that night and this is just some other/split off reality of sorts, I know that sounds real crazy lol, it's a really long story that I'll make a thread about eventually)....I didn't "freak out", almost did, but the entire experience left me "rattled" and questioning my sanity and reality for several months after...My entire reality was shattered and it rattled me to my core, it was unlike anything I've experienced with psychedelics before and it was by far the most "real" thing I've ever experienced, it was more real than "reality" and didn't even feel like I was "tripping"....It still kinda fucks with me when I start thinking about it, or when I'm tripping and I start to dwell on and reflect back on that experience it really gets the adrenaline/anxiety flowing through me...I've been on the verge of full on anxiety attack just from thinking about the experience several times, that was mostly during the months & year after it happened...at this point it doesn't get to me as much.

:lol: on the flip side of convincing myself I was dead and reliving the nightmare of how I died, previously before that happened I convinced myself I died somehow on the hike up, because it was too blissful and serene, too perfect to ever imaginably exist I couldn't understand or believe any of it, so I convinced myself I died somehow and I was living in Heaven.

Its almost worth having a bad trip to come to the sobering phase. Because once u do, u feel like u are on cloud 9 from finally finishing the intense insanity-like experience that is a Bad Trip.

I had this strong bad acid trip that felt like it lasted an eternity.

I had to "battle" some dudes in a game of Fifa in order to keep control of my sanity. I was stuck playing Fifa for about 4 hours...

Honestly this feeling can rival the hallucinatory backbone of what tripping can show you. Theres something so polarizing about the two states of consciousness, it almost feels like coming home after a long time of being away.

That return to normalcy and familiar territory is so soothing.

It's based on extremely circumstantial evidence, usually no evidence at all. Believe what you want. But your experiences don't dictate history.

Horrendous terror. I had a bad mushroom trip that left me with symptoms of trauma and panic attacks which lingered for a year or so. It was like every vision took on the most terrifying nature possible, and at one point a seemingly evil, bearded entity (looked a lot like the Greek god Pan) timelessly harassed me with what felt like a reflection of all of my deepest fears. As Sam Harris described it, my mind became “a perfect instrument of self torture” for the longest 5 hours of my life.

I don’t regret it.

I’m better off, stronger and humbler for it. Just another experience in my repertoire, and, if it happens again, I’ll be stronger, more ready to gaze into it with courage and extract whatever treasure may or may not be waiting to be earned.
