Well to be fair from what I gather from that short article they don't really know the cause of death, and even if it was the dogs they don't know what caused the incident.

I have known many pit bulls and literally never been bitten I played with huge burly pit bulls as a kid all the time.

Hell I remember one dog I played with as a kid that could literally hang from a rope tied to a tree using his mouth and swing around for a long time. And he was a big/heavy dog.

Funnily enough little dogs tend to be the most aggressive IME, though I guess most can't do much damage at least.

My german shepherd gets aggressive around certain dogs, but will literally jump up to kiss strangers on the lips

I think leaving dogs, especially big dogs, in cages for half the day should be animal cruelty. Dogs are meant to run around, even leaving them locked in a house all day seems cruel...

Show me where in the article it says she for sure died because of those dog wounds?

How do you know she didn't die of unrelated cause and the dogs tried eating her later? It wouldn't be the first time.

Once again assuming the dogs did kill her we have no idea what triggered the attack. Maybe they had been locked in a cage for way too long, that doesn't justify them attacking but it might explain why they got aggressive. How do we know they didn't just jump up at her in excitement and knock her down causing her to hit her head? Then after not being feed they tried eating her.

I don't think it's really apologetic, I am just saying we don't know all the facts.

Even if they did attack her completely unprovoked it's not like pit bulls are the only dog that does that occasionally

It's not like everyone is completely incapacitated in these situations, once again my point is we don't know all the facts.

Like I said even if the dogs did kill her we have no idea what caused it, dogs generally don't get aggressive for no reason.

See notice how you said "pitbull type", a lot of people assume other breeds are pits because they look similar

I have seen all sorts of dogs be aggressive, I have even seen very aggressive/feral dogs that mellowed out after going to a good home.

My old wolfdog was going to be put down before we got her, she had been running around killing neighbors chickens at a property she was abandoned at. She had also likely been abused has her old owner was an asshole and she acted very afraid around people for years. But she was one of the sweetest dogs I have ever known

I just think there is more to this story then assuming it was just because pit bulls are aggressive. But who knows, animals in general can be aggressive including humans so I wouldn't be surprised either way.
