How do you guys feel mentally after a shrooms trip ?

What effects mentally do you notice ? I feel reborn with decreased anxiety and my vision is more enhanced and my breathing is calmer. .. What do you experience?

Decreased anxiety
colors seem more vibrant
I am more honest, in a compasionate way
Little annoyances don't bother me as much

They are all pretty damn cool!

My wife has told me that I am more motivated and enthusiastic about everything, and that I don't have any down days(depression) for a month or more.

All of the above maybe besides drained, generally I have more if anything. It's like a mental reset, everything gets corrected, tuned up, and when it comes back it's like it's brand new.

I think I need to eat mushrooms again and see if I'm remembering correctly. Lsd definitely leaves you feeling drained, and I've done a lot of that this past year.. so maybe I'm confusing myself. Trips blending together.

IMO they make me feel fresh and a bit more clear minded but yes LSD drains me and  makes me feel like I've got HD googles on for some days after or some shit like that

Depending on the trip. Awe and gratitude on a good trip as well as all that is being funny. On a bad trip, life is doom and gloom. Last bad trip felt like I merged with insanity and had a near psychosis-like exp. I ended up sleeping 16hrs thereafter.

Integrated, peaceful, like a citizen of the universe. The afterglow following a solid mushroom experience is just so nice, nothing can really compare.

The next day feel a mild body hangover (I do an average of 7-10 dry grams or 100 wet) but I'm much calmer, vision is great for a few days, things that normally stress me out don't for a week or two, my chronic pain is completely gone during the  trip and diminished by half for a couple days.
Normally I dose 1-2 times a week, but I got extremely sick the last time I dosed about 3 weeks ago. So, I haven't since. I boiled my shrooms put some sugar in it but realized I didn't have enough koolaid so I put in the cooldest part of the fridge until Friday (1 1/2 days later). I drink it at 5pm by 5:10 I'm at a lvl 5 trip. By 5:30 I start puking and didnt stop for 2 1/2 hours. No diarrhea like with food poisoning. Just mind melting tripping and vomiting. Not sure if it was potency or toxicity that mafe me sick, its never happened before.

Shrooms are the only drug that make me feel better than before. 

Usually, anything that ramps up my dopamine levels or makes feel good is paid for by feeling bad later....like I've depleted all of my "feel good chemicals".

But even if a trip produces a euphoric rush, something that, for me, is synonymous with a crash the next day; with mushrooms, I'm able to enjoy a brighter outlook and sometimes even a boost in those "feel good chemicals".

Mushrooms really are magic it seems.

I wonder how the feel good afterglow works? We're taught that lowering serotonin should make one feel negatively yet 5ht receptors deregulate in response to a trip. Is that not contradictory?

I think it may be negated by so many other pathways in the brain being opened at once. It's fascinating for sure.

I've only done them a couple of times, but I feel tired, as if I had been driving for 10 hours.
I also feel that I'm very much in my head trying to remember and understand what has happened.

When I get out, I feel more chilled, curious and loving.

Every time I feel amazing and happy and everything is bright and beautiful.  It's called the afterglow.  Lsd has a very similar effect for me (I've done it 6 times total, all this year) but my body usually feels wore out, but that's probably because I was up dancing at festival all night haha.  Shrooms immobilize me

If you want a really nice afterglow do some k during your shroom trip.  A couple weeks ago I was peaking on L and tried K for the first time, not only was it the second most powerful trip I've had to date, the afterglow was like being born again.  I opened my eyes that mornings and looked at the trees above me (music fedtival again) and everything was just perfect....  in fact I haven't been the same since.  Anyway

So I do have "bad trips" frequently now although I never had anything remotely bad for years and years when I started tripping. However I can safely say after every trip good or bad I feel great. With the exception of one trip a long time ago I tried to abort a trip with tranquilizers cause it was so fucking painful it really sucker punched me out of nowhere. Now I just ride it out if it goes bad just lay the fuck down.

If it's a high dose trip I feel entirely reborn. If it's a lower dose trip I feel refreshed and happy.

The one thing I always tend to feel towards the end of my trip is an immense amount of energy. I tend to pace around a lot during this phase.
