Does hydrogen peroxide have a role in your grows?

Helllooo again...... Anyone out there use H2O2 in there grows at all?  I will use a few capfulls in my dunking water for my bulk subs after I harvest every flush.  Mushroom mycellium produces its own peroxides and hydrogen peroxide breaks down into water and oxygen correct?

      Whenever I use it as an aid in my dunking there will be a slight foaming action as the peroxide assimilates and reacts with the mushroom metabolites. If really helps flush out early bacterial colonies that can start to take hold after the first couple flushes.  It does not take much when it is added to dunk water, and the sub really seems to benefit... My last monotub I was able to get 7 flushes by using this technique. (Aged hpoo and straw sub with supplements. )

    Anyone else out there have experience using hydrogen peroxide in their grows?  Itb awesome to hear about it!! Haha..... Thank You!!!  :laugh:

I have never used hydrogen peroxide in my grows, unnecessary, save it for the cuts man :thumbup:

i was one time jackin off to my tubs...sexy thangs they are...well I dropped my beer...cleaning it up I cut myself....

I immediately searched for peroxide...nowhere to be found.

I've used hydrogen peroxide. U can search my posts for the experimentations I've done. To save u the time. If u need to use it, u already fucked up. Best way to fight contams is proper sterile technique

It shouldn't have a role in your house period. For mycology or otherwise.

Its one mycological use is for cobweb mold. If you have cobweb mold you done fucked up good. And need to start over.

Peroxide damages your body as well and delays healing time.
Peroxide in first aid is old news too.

There's also no reason to try using over the counter concentrations of peroxide as a sanitizer or disinfectant.

So noone thinks that it is beneficial to use (2 or 3 capfulls only) diluted into dunking water with later flushes?  Couldn't it help keep fungal spore numbers and possible encroaching bacteria down while also potentially boosting continued fruiting?

I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, I just personally did use small amounts of it after my 3 flush I think in the dunk water and it did not appear to cause any harm.  It seems to have a oxygenating and cleaning effect and breaks down into water and oxygen after a short time being exposed to light. 

      All I know is I was pretty suprised at how many fruits and flushes it kept pumping out, although I did use a lot of spawn on that one
