Hydrogen peroxide?

#956417 - 10/13/02 06:24 AM (24 years, 6 days ago)

Everybody is talking about peroxide here, is it the same as hydrogen peroxide?
How much peroxide should be added to the water that i have on bottom of my terrarium (now i have just water and perlite and obviously just waiting for contam)?
Can i mist the terrarium and shrooms with peroxide water (how strong)?

Yes, just go to your local chemist - also good for bleaching your hair!

Also known as H2O2
Best not mist with it.

Don't know about adding to perlite

In reply to:

I don't measure it, I just dump some peroxide in about 4:1 h2o/h2o2.

In reply to:

I mist my casings with a 20:1 h2o/h2o2 mixture. Do not mist your shrooms.

How strong is this peroxide you are using?
The one i have is merely 3%, is this ok?

On the bottle it says that it can be used
as is for cleaning wounds etc. and to make
a 4:1 solution with h20 for rinsing your mouth.
