Hello,

I would love to know each and every mushroom-farm there is in the entire state of Florida.

I'm on the southwest coast, and (in grocery stores) the only florida mushrooms i've seen seem to be coming from Lakeland Florida. And Lakeland is about 30 miles east of Tampa.

'Never seen any packaged mushrooms coming from anywhere else including Miami.
-All the mushrooms in the grocerys seem to come from Pennsylvania, California, and Lakeland florida... (From greatest to least in that order).

Mushworld, 'would be much appreciated if you could stear me in the right direction also..

ooOO ok, this has prompted me to do some google searching.

Here is Miami's Shroom-farm: http://www.flmushroom.com/

.....Ok, you've prompted me to do more searching,

The one (i think) that makes shrooms in Lakeland is "Quincy Farms" i'm familiar with that name..

Well. I think a field-trip is most-definately-absolutely in order.

This is the guy growing them in Naples Florida.

Naples is down by Miami, only on the opposite (west) coast...

I know of several farms in east tennessee... i couldn't figure out if the article is only interested in FL farms. I will be fruiting a relatively small 200 log shiitake operation in ~1 month.

That sounds like a nice lil operation. I need to get some ambition going soon and cut some logs my self. But I doubt I have any time for it. I emailed these people several times but they still have not responded.

If you want some preinocculated (as in 1yo will fruit this year and 2yo fruited last year... certified organic) logs I have the hookup. I know of a farm in western NC that is sitting on about 10,000 logs and they are wanting to get rid of them. The farmer is a straight up, legit type of person but she has spread herself too thin and is having some troubles with a more important business in FL (of all places!).

The only catch is that she will only sell the entire operation (that's all logs AND equipment). I reviewed my finances and spoke with some interested investors but was unable to compile enough monetary resources and was hesitant to take on that many logs myself. I did, however, have a good idea. My investors are willing to buy the whole lot on the condition that I immediately sell a couple thousand of said logs to recoup some money and to reduce my workload. If ANYONE is interested drop me a PM. Time is short on this one (fruiting begins in ~1 month).
