Wow, that's a new one  I don't see how it could hurt. Maybe just check and see if the moisture content is still right inside the jars. You could just waste one jar, pop it open and check whether it is too wet/dry. Other than that, I can't think of why this could be a negative thing. Anyone else?

PappaK....Bong-loads and science dont mix!

I've heard something about the sugars breaking down from too much heat, but I dunno. I guess is you have enouch moisture and spores (From a print?) I'd go for it. If you are tight on spores I'd do more jars to replace these, but 10 jars makes a pretty good amount of mushrooms, no?

The sugars may have caramelized. A friend had this happen with rye at one time and he grew on it anyway. It was slow to colonize and had very cottony (read non-rhizomorphic) growth. Since the materials are cheap anyway, try one jar. You'll know in about a week if it's going to work out. If it does, just innoculate the rest.
Peace,
Wildman
