So much easier to abdicate any responsibility as in "You are responsible for my emotional state". Who is in control of "you" is the real question and what is the payoff for getting riled up?

The more spiritually mature a person, the less they are offended for they see the bigger picture (awareness) and better understand the differences in human perception and communication. (Uh oh! This is bound to offend someone.)  :eyemouth:

One can be offended by one's own interpretation of an incidence or event. We often interpret these things through glasses tinted by the negative experiences of our childhood. Reality is obscured by clouded judgment, and we become offended by an otherwise inoffensive event.

Damn those buttons anyways!

A little know fact... Americans are born fully clothed. When some hellspawn like Janet comes around and undoes what God rightfully gave us (fully clothed bodies), it undermines an entire nation's ethics. I mean, how can we continue to bomb other countries in the name of the greater good when we have bare breasted nipples on TV. You see the problem, no?
