A. Muscaria var. Americana, Trumpets, Yellow Chants, Violet Cort and an Orange Reishi ?

Had a fantastic day of foraging. 6 hours between 2 locations about 2 miles from each other. Found a nice patch of A. Muscaria var. Americana. Has the name changed on those or is Americana still acceptable?
Also I think the violet ones are violet corts but if someone could confirm that would be cool.
Basket of black trumpets and yellow chants.
Lastly, an orange reishi. I usually find Ganoderma tsugae in my area. In the last 4 years I've been foraging reishi I've never seen an orange one. Any ideas on what species or why it would be orange? It is a bit past it's prime but not rotten, dry or faded as far as I can tell.

Thanks!

Amanita muscaria var. americana is a deprecated synonym of Amanita muscaria var. guessowii.
Also, your Corts look good for Cortinarius iodes.
What type of trees did you find your Amanita under?

Amanita's were found in a conifer forest of (I'm pretty sure) Eastern White Pine.
Thanks for the correction on the naming. It's too bad. I liked Americana
BTW. Wiki has Amanita muscaria var. guessowii listed as edible. I thought that was interesting.

Oh they're edible, Amanita are some of my favorite edibles, but I have been around them long enough so I know what to do, and not kill myself.
Amanita jacksonii & Amanita arkansana are two that I find very tasty, and very filling.
Someone prepared some muscaria types for me a few years ago, they boiled them and threw the liquid away, then cooked the fruit body and experience no effects. I never got much from psychoactive Amanita anyway, just sleepy, so have used muscaria types as a sleep aid before with success. Whether that was placebo, I don't know, but it worked.
This site is Amanita expert Rod Tulloss's, so is great for researching the genus.

Yes I'm familiar with the boiling method and have heard some amanita are very tasty. Id hate for an inexperienced forager to just cook them up thinking they could be handled like other edible mushrooms based on a webpage.
Thanks for the link!
