for tabs, I use the Tabbrowser Extensions extension which can be found here: http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/#tbe

I also recommend tabbrowser preferences - but TBE has more options and allows greater customization.

you can manually use tabs, if my memory serves me right, by pressing alt while pressing enter.

I don't get it. What's so fucking great about it?

It's been putting scroll bars all over pages that usually have none, giving me assloads of messages and stuff.

Probably configuration issues, but seriously - This is just annoying.

If a big plus about it is that it's faster, I'm not feeling it. Though I'm on a 10mb line.

Conclusion - The more I notice a browser, the less I want to use it.

I haven't had any problems yet. So far, it seems to operate similarly to IE.

Anyways, happy birthday, Run.

Sorry to hear that Run. I didn't mean to steer ya wrong! It IS a work in progress, so it's going to have bugs. Apparently on some systems it's more buggy than on others. :frown:

Re: FireFox [Re: RunDMT]

Generally, it is just a browser.
Although it's better than IE in alot of small ways, the only real -BIG- plus about it is support for standards. MS doesn't support published w3c standards, and hasn't added support for features in a while. If everybody keeps using IE, MS will never improve their browser.
Although the advantage I get from using Firebird is relatively small (I can't even really take IE off my computer), competition in the browser arena will force Microsoft to make improvements and enable content providers to use newer standards in good ways, like .css.

Seriously, to see an indication of real diference between the browsers, visit http://www.csszengarden.com with both IE and Firebird.

I'm not denigrating all the great things about Firebird, but the real reason to use it is support for open standards and to protest the MS browser monopoly.

I also tried your speed enhancement, and this thing is blazing fast !

This is rather funny, I tried to view that website in IE, but it crashed while trying to load.

Firefox is awesome. I don't miss IE at ALL!

Oh, and Xochitl, what do those edits do? They're really excellent!

The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

can you post a link so I can look at the code? The site is probably using IE-only, non-W3C standard javascripts.
