problems playing embedded WMVs in firefox

hey folks

i'm staying at my mom's house for a couple of days since i have some work to do in this town and her computer is giving me problems... i just formatted and reinstalled the whole system, and the firefox is not playing embedded WMVs... it either says that firefox is missing a plugin, or it displays black space where the movie should be...

any ideas?

try the plugin, it's probably not the issue as i happens on my mons system as well

thing is once i click on install plugin it says "plugin not found"
