The basic idea that you have no evidence of an objective external world just does not seem to be able to register in your mind.

I think there is evidence for an objective, external world.  Not proof of course, but evidence.  Also, I would take care to distinguish between evidence that an external objective world exists from evidence on the nature of the external objective world.

Yet still you can't give a single example of why the statement is wrong out of the so called dozen you've seen. Way to blow your own horn.

Right my bad, life's an imaginative fairy tale that we project from our brains and nothing is real because electricity, magnetism, gravity and the nuclear forces are all fabricated opinions.

The words we use to describe them are made up but what we are describing is not.

If that's too hard to understand then you're living in a world of ignorance.

A taste test..... if you're serious Akira.

i am only half-serious. (there is subtext that is not within this thread)

how is what he saying so disagreeable? or is it his method in how he says it? personally, thick skinned people seem to get offended by the way people say things (or in sudly's case, denote things), which i find ironic and highly entertaining. though, at the same time slightly begrudging. but it'll pass.

Damn you and your outside looking in perspective. I followed the thread where you and he had at it over subjectivity blah blah was interesting and yet i resisted. In this case i was caught unaware. You're right! Its more a case of how and yes its ironic.
