So how are you going to take it when Trump is not elected?
    #23076898 -

Just saying It's still a possibility you know, and if that day does come that he is not the leader and Hillary Clinton is, how will you feel about that? What would you do if anything? Do you think he should fade away and keep out of politics? I'm afraid if he doesn't then it would make him appear even less considerable. I'm sure even if he wanted to fade away it would be hard, the media would still eat him up.

Interested in hearing your thoughts. :strokebeard:

Bernie Sanders is going to win the election.

Hillary and Trump are bums.

It really doesn't matter, nothing is going to change for the better.  Trade deals that fuck US workers will continue, illegals will continue to undercut US workers, health care will remain a disaster, educational costs will remain high, our infrastructure will remain poor as we enter 2nd world status, and our economy will remain a near zero growth pile of shit.

Ixc believe there is an alternative:

It is looking like Trump has shot himself in the foot with his antics.  As of now, Cruz has a huge lead in Wisconsin, and is neck and neck, and possibly will win, California.

In that case, Trump won't have the 1237, nor will cruz.

But, the complex Republican Convention laws, the way they are set up, almost assures us that only Trump or Cruz will be elgible.

They will probably pick cruz, and what happens?

Trump 3rd parties.  And, this means he will pick off enough solid Blue states to deny Hillary the presidency--the election is deadlocked and goes to the house.

The House gets One vote for each state--and that is voted upon by the representatives for the states.  Since the republicans control 37 states, they will win.

They can ONLY vote for the top 3 candidates.  That would be Trump, Cruz, and Bernie or Hillary.

The House, Unlike the Senate, is massively Pro-Cruz.

Say hello to President Cruz--and...

BYE BYE Department of Education
BYE BYE DEA
BYE BYE all but the basic structure of the EPA

BYE BYE TO ALL OBAMA executive Fiat.

Fucking A!!!!

I also believe that Cruz will gut the Federal GZovernment by executive Decree.

How?

He will decree the abolition of those agencies he wants to get rid of.

That will be challenged consitutionally--they have been allowed to exist because Congress passed laws enabling them.

So, the chanllenge will proceed to the supreme courts--and there is where Cruz holds the Trump card.

His argument will be, those agencies are NOT a legitimate function of the constitution, per the US constitution, since the federal government has a very specific limited set of functions outline in the constitution.

It should be a real battle.

Imagine the US, with the corporate world booming, high levels of employment, and the US as the world leader in fossil fuels, and with the Coal Insdustry holding the key to China--among other countries--economy?

Good times ahead with high employment and high wages in the US--

and good by to butthurt, politically correct progressive government. :highfive:

You're dreaming, Cruz is an insider, nothing is going to change.  Things are only going to get worse with or without him.

Explain why he is an insider?

Also, I am laying out a possible scenario.  He will be president if Trump goes 3rd party.

he is against DEA--
He is against H1B visas and H2B visas.

He is against unlawful immigration.

Those are insider policies?

If Trump, a Republican, goes third party it would split the Republican vote between him and Cruz and would guarantee that Hillary wins.

Wrong. a The analysis is that the pro-trump vote will win some blue states, which == no electoral majority.  Its not like Perot, etc.  Thats because a good portion of Trumps support is blue dog dems and independents.  Those are the votes that usually swing, and win purple and blue states.

This is why I hate policies, the outcomes are already being decided before I even vote. Makes me feel like a pawn.

To speak briefly on H1B visa status, I work in the staffing industry so I see this situation every single day. Literally, there are absolutely no fucking American citizens with the same core skill set as H1B visa immigrants. If all 81 bees are denied and one days time, so many fucking companies would lose their entire Quality assurance departments.

I'm not pro or con, I'm just saying this is the reality of the situation.

Maybe this is a sign that we should focus more on training our own people.  We shouldn't rely on foreigners.

We have plenty of highly educated and skilled people, but they're more expensive to hire because they won't work for shit wages when they have 100k in student debt.

Good riddence to bad rubbish if he loses Wis. to Cruz. Some grow weary of his big fat mouth.

If the relevant authorities are granting H1B visas to foreigners despite the fact we actually have our own qualified people to fill these positions, they (the authorities) should be punished.

The early polls are to prevent certain followers to give up and not to participate in the final election. Psychology tactics that they are using in order to put whom they wants in the office. But if Trump is leading in the Republican party, then that means he going to win,. because these early polls are just a few participants; but there are many like more than 75% republicans that doesn't participate until the final election comes. Nobody doesn't wastes their time on these previous practice polls.

I totally agree. If there is a enough of a supply of non-foreign employees who have the same skill set and employers are choosing H1B visa is over then because of cost, then yes that is something that should be heavily fined.  The problem is that Qman is speaking in generalities and he isn't pointing out anything specific. I, on the other hand, do know specifically what types of HB visa employees are being hired and where there is a deficit in American workers with that skill set. I agree we need to train more of our citizens to have the skill sets but it isn't going to happen overnight.

So please tell us "specifically" what the US labor market is lacking in skills and education that forces employers to use H1B visas?
