Why do you love DMT & Self-Transforming Machine Elves ?

I've been on a DMT absorbtion binge lately.

Just curious to see those who have done, still do, or gave up on freebase DMT. What got you started that lead you to the doors of DMT? How do you integrate these experiences into your lives and do you think it's something humans should be dabbling in? Can we as a species of hyper-monkies benefit from DMT usage or is it just another crazy  :crazy2: high?

Also on a bit of a different note, and I guess this is my most important question; Do you think we are cheating ourselves by taking this canon of a short cut? Is there something lost in that notion?

i did it twice but never "broke through" with it
although what i experienced was weird as hell

i sure as hell will give it another go sometime, i need to get the full effect
there is something very strange about it .....

What do YOU think?

All I can say is that when I vaporize that stuff something very different happens and I witness more creativity and artistic "stuff" in several minutes than I've seen on other drugs, the internet and in art galleries my whole life.

I think it would be most useful for the creative realm - the artist.

As for science and mankind in general.... lol I'm not sure man - it certainly seems PROFOUND while its happening, but so do other psychedelics.

I've heard people say they have successfully used psychedelic substances to assist people having schitzophrenic episodes.. Unfortunately I don't know where this research was, maybe somebody else has heard of it too.

I am torn. There is my progressive brain, which is always curious and ready to try new things, it's like a small child really. I believe that there is a reason this substance is here on Earth and a reason why it interacts with human minds specifically. I don't think it's some accident.

There is another part of my brain, the parental lobe that tells me that its wrong. I still feel guilty taking shrooms occasionally, I believe this is because of my own social conditioning. I have a hard time standing up for things I believe in because I value the social structure, as backwards as it is sometimes.

I am an artist so i do think I could benefit. That'd be great if Bush gave it a try and reported back what he saw live telecast! haha.

Its in tons of planets and other animals too - not just humans :smile:

Just absorbing information and getting myself more acquainted.

I went from Mushrooms to Lucid Dreams to OBE Interests to this, the mother of all psychedelics. Nice leap in thought. I guess Rick Strassman's DMT: The Spirit Molecule helped me as well. I contacted Strassman via email to ask why he didn't put any of his DMT encounters in the book. He never answered that question, hehe..

Apparently he doesn't want to claim he's done it because he's afraid that will mess up his credibility, so he doesn't ever even say he tried it :wink: publicly

And uhh I believe him. His mind is not tainted by drugs so he has a very stable position :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink: RIGHT?!

ive yet to try some DMT. ive tried 5-meo and that was definatly wierd as hell. im going to have to make an extraction sometime.

I hear ayahausca is better for integrating the experience in you life because it lasts longer. On freebase you dont really have time to do anything but be like "wtf??"
