Can you fly in DMT WORLD ?

Hey dudes-

Had a question for those of you that have tripped off of DMT more than once. As you go along with your experiments, is it always the same thing? I mean, is it just like watching a movie? Can you interact with your eviroment? I've heard of people being able to fly around in DMT hyperspace and control their movements but this was just second hand information. It seems like the DMT trip is a lot like astrally projecting. Do I get to take myself along for the ride or is it like LSD where I am left behind? I'm talking ego here.

Just some more wonder'in . . . as always, thanks for the feedback !

everyones diffrent man and trips are diffrent as well, it's not predictable like the same thing everytime like salvia is (at least for me) and D is really hard to try and explain, there just isn't words for it. ego? heh forget about that shit man but it's torn away so fast it's not as disturbing as LSD can be sometimes, i think the thing with lsd is you start to get that feeling and try to fight it and this gives people a rough time with D there's no fighting it just happens so quick you won't even realize one second your suckin at some pipe the next your in your own little trance in some other world... actually forget world, your in your own universe. don't try to control the spice let it show you what it wants, i think trying to control the trip could be starting and ineffective, just let go.  :rocket:

You can do whatever you want as long as you remember that you can do whatever you want (which can prove tricky).

Sometimes my body is with me and sometimes its not - I don't really pay much attention to my body on this stuff as it seems like its barely relevant.

but yeah I'd recommend instead of "trying" to go somewhere on the first trip, just let it take you to the spot your mind wants it to send you to.... After a couple of trips you'll get an idea of the type of confidence required for "navigating"

I've actually found that navigating around and trying to do my own thing isn't nearly as impressive as when I "just let go" like jr said.

The thing is, I think your mind is controling the trip ANYWAY, so when you consciously "direct" things, its not as slick and suprising and creative as when you just let your brain mess with the stuff on its own.. Don't know if that makes sense, but hehe hopefully it gets the idea across.

and lol by the way, on your first trip you're not going to be able to grasp all of this information we're giving you so I'm going to suggest that you gather just the basic information on the experience and then try not to read too many more reports and stuff....

Its like Simon Posford (Of Shpongle) said about DMT:

No not at all. Your words are helpful. I feel that way and still feel that way about not wanting to know about it before trying it. Reading reports is good in my opinion yet they're nothing more than stories. And every storyteller is subjective. That's why it's so fun to listen to them. I will find the right time to do this. I don't feel rushed, just overly curious, maybe too curious. That's what killed him right? The cat?

YellowSubmarine, I think that the implication here is that the more you read about your journey, the less chance you will have to truly believe that what you experienced was strangely similar to other users, implying perhaps that this world you are transported to exists.

You will be forced to admit that there is a possibility that your mind fabricated your trip through expectations. As in, it is most interesting to hear the reports of people who have never had someone tell them what to expect.

Do people who have never heard of the elves see the elves?

EDIT: I reread your latest post, I would say that you do understand this anyway so sorry for narrating.

McKenna said that the "elves" are nothing like the elves we see on tv or read stories about.

I had an amazing curiousity about dmt also a few years ago. I might have to reignite it one day.

This is subjective. I believe in it even though I have never used it. It just fits correctly into the scheme of the things. DMT is produced in the brain at birth, NDE, OBE/Meditation, Dreams and Death. Strassman says its the facilitatory of the soul. It comes out of root bark for gods sake! DMT seems to have a stranglehold on the human conciousness. I remember agreeing with McKenna when he said why this isn't on every newspaper, front headlines with 2 inch print is beyond me. "I don't know what news you were expecting to hear." - Yet no one knows what this substance is and how available it is to human beings. That's what really blows my mind , the fact that the key to our locks exist amongst nature and external to oursevles.

umm well it certainly feels more "external" than any other drug I've toyed with... like what I'm experiencing actually seems to come from elsewhere, or is at least more convincing of such than anything else I've been through.

At times it sure feels like there's an "other" but I dunno man heh its inexpressible

That's weird you say it feels external because I've heard of many people saying that DMT trips actually feel very close to home, like they've been there before. I always thought this was because of the fact that the trip lasts 15 minutes , meaning your brain knows exactly what and how to process this chemical because its so similar to the stuff our pineals spit out. Correct me if I'm wrong.

well you still feel like you, you feel almost normal, but there's suddenly this AMAZING BUZZING ENERGY COMING FROM SEEMINGLY SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE OF YOU that seems like its there all the time just you can't notice it without this slight mind alteration.

Basically my interpretation is that there's a hell of a lot of stuff going on right around us at all times, a whole lot of energy being spent, work being done, to keep this universe together.

Once I come back down, though, its all gone and its all just words and memory again so I dunno man :wink:

there is no amount of preparing you can do that will really help you deal with the dmt flash. you just smoke and let it all go, dont think...just be. the "elves" are just a cute name in my eyes , for all the different energies that glow and vibrate in symphonic harmony. the deepest networking of the cosmos, human language doesnt have words to do it justice as of yet

Yeah, dmt is somethin else man. Right after taking your first hit, you can definitely get confused, because you trip so hard that quick. It's not the same thing for me every time at all. Almost every time, my experience teaches me something new, or leaves me with a glimpse of something new. Some words of advice: Try to get in your full dose if you plan on breaking through. My first time, i hit it once and for a minute was too overwhelmed to take a second hit. Get the dose gone in 3, at the most 4 hits.
