It takes a little while (I think in the weeks) for the Ph to drop that much-- adding more lye won't hurt, but I doubt it's necessary.

cwp-- the taste will vary depending on your purity-- I've never thought it was bad or harsh in the least-- it does have a unique chemical smell/taste, but I've only smoked light-yellow and creamy-white colored spice-- as for how long it takes to blow you away--that depends on the strength of the hit and how much you're hitting-- I've been immobilized at one hit, and been able to hit it 4 times-- I guess it just depends on how effectively you vaporize the spice and how much you get in each hit...

yeah mine turned out creamy white.
I wasn't expecting the body load like that though lol. I thought it didn't have any and 5meo-dmt did??? I didn't even take enough to see visuals but the body load was intense.

im having trouble finding naptha in the uk. is zippo lighter fuel petroleum ether? is this ok to use as long as its petroleum ether and not butane?

It's not as pure as naptha...but it would WORK. Do a test for yourself, if you poor a few drops on a mirror or glass, wait a few hours...you'll have a sticky residue.

ok i will do that. is it the best alternative to using naptha? if i do get sticky residue shall i do a freeze tek?

any uk members know where to get naptha?

hey buddy - last time i was in a big B&Q i discovered that they sell naphtha near the barbecue section in huge 4l white plastic tubs. FUCK! i wish i'd known that before.

I have a guy at my work asking me how many tablespoons 200 grams of lye would be. Anyone know?


Also, he's asking me if a aluminum mixing bowl would be okay?


EDIT: 200 grams tends to be around 13-14 tablespoons.

Can one mix the water,lye and bark powder right now and let it sit over night...then do the naptha for best results?

Chazzersize: I read on the NaOH wiki entry that it corrodes Aluminium

For anyone in Aus my mate figured that a good source of Naptha is 'Shellite' camp stove fuel made by Diggers - found in Bunnings.

He wants to know what a good source of NaOH is? Draino is only 55% NaOH and noone's heard of 'Lye'. Would the 55% crystals be OK or what would the other 45% be (and would they be soaked up by the Naptha)

Thanks for the response!

I would look for some sort of crystal drain cleaner. Usually on the back, it will say it's 100 percent sodium hydroxide.

Your best bet is to hit up soap making stores for it. It also goes by caustic soda. Good luck!

One more question, i might need an expert to help...

If i plan on using Acacia branches and leaves (to avoid stripping the bark) will this TEK work? Is the DMT molecule in acacias in the same form as HMRB or does it require acid? And i read that a defat is required in plants that contain chlorophyll and since im working with leaves i imagine this would be an issue. If that's the case i don't know how to include it in this TEK.

Has anyone sucessfully used this method on acacia leaves/branches and are they still alive to reply?
