Gender

Over the years it's become apparent to me some people lie about their gender or switch their icon back and forth between guy and girl periodically.

I don't mind it so much but it sure does confuse me and make it harder for me to perceive the community properly as I'm sure it does somewhat for us all.

What are yalls thoughts on this?

OK this is a pet peeve of mine...

People don't have a gender. Words have a gender. Words like he and she have gender but people have a sex. This illiteracy is a common mistake and all forms we fill out now make this error. Instead of asking sex they mistakenly ask for gender which only words have.

Regarding your question... People are weird. I gave up trying to understand them long ago.

I think these boy/girl icons shouldn't be.

Make a -are you male or female- thread if you really want to fond out!

Idk dude, you can look at the chromosones and DNA of humans and start putting them into 2 categories that have to do with their sexual functionality.
