Filter patch bag alternatives?

Are there any? Trying to follow Ryche's 50/50 tek, but I don't have any of those handy filter bags for sterilizing. Would anything else withstand the temps in a Pressure Cooker? I have these turkey bags, by Reynolds or something, supposed to withstand high temps, maybe I'll try that, see if it melts.
