check out some other Dave Brubeck stuff.. it's really good. In Your Own Sweet Way is another favorite of mine.

First time I heard that great song was on Mr Rogers Neighborhood as a kid. He was always into the hep jazz stuff! Speed delivery and RIP.

If you can find it, get Brubeck's, "Time Further Out," it's the sequel to, "Time Out." There's a Joan Miro painting on the cover, which has some numbers on it, and he used the numbers to arbitrarily assign time signatures to his compositions on the album. Brubeck was always a whiz with time signatures.

It used to be hard to find. I found an old vinyl back in the eighties, and it was out of print at that time, so I was lucky. I'm sure now that they've caught up with CDs, that it is probably out there, somewhere.

Listen to Desmond's solos on a couple of tracks for little melodic snippets that Paul McCartney later borrowed for the Beatles... :wink:
