How long should a resume be?

I'm trying to type up a resume to work at some costume store for like a month, lol. The application online gives the option to attach a resume so I figure I oughta. The only thing is, I'm not really sure what kind of "qualifications" and shit I should include, simply because it's a pretty straight-forward and easy job I'd assume. I've worked at a handful of other retail stores, should I say that I have experience with stocking, as a cashier, nd like, IDK!? Because that's true, but I dunno, applying for jobs is annoying and confusing.

So, to work at some little costume store for a month, how extensive do you think an interview should be?

i try to keep it to 3 pages or less.

A good resume gets to the point but shows all details of your past work history.

Not sure how picky they will be in hiring, but if u list your sales and retail experieence in your resume, should be golden :thumbup:

Make sure u take your time to proofread your resume. Typos aare bad and will make u look bad.

Look at templates online. List your jobs and the responsibilities you had and what your duties were for each in a bulleted format.

They're looking back for 10 years.  If you've had multiple jobs, consider lumping by experience.  This past year, I've had several temp jobs. The recruiter suggested I lump those together since they've all been the same type of job.

Technically two pages, one as a cover letter, one as a resume.

Get a fancy template and fill it with bullshit like an intro to why you want the job and how your a hard worker. Say your good with computers and customers and some other bullshit. Then put your education and all past jobs.

Use nontraditional fonts and color paper. Employers dig that.

Also spray your resume with your best cologne, a la Alicia Silverstone in "Clueless"
