In Need of Resume Templates

A while back I was able to download TONS of different blank resume templates from demonoid way back when... I can no longer find them and in desperate need of finding templates to use in Microsoft word. I would really appreciate the help

Open Word
File Tab on top left
New document It will then display a bunch of templates
Bottom row left side says "New Resume Templates"

Make certain to "reveal formatting" at the end to determine whether you have any extraneous spaces or formatting errors.
This is because most jobs are applied to online, and if you "copy and paste" into a text box, it may fuck up your MS word formatting.

I dont really understand what you mean by reveal formatting... because I do have to apply online, which needs the resume to be copy and pasted.

You only need to do it IF it looks funny when you copy and paste.
"reveal formatting" is a button/feature in MS word. With it, you can see formatting errors you may have missed. For example, you can't see extra spaces after a period unless you reveal the formatting.

Personally I would recommend this website: resumetemplates.org
It has an extensive collection of resume templates classified by professional areas.

Dan, to be honest you don't really need a template for a resume. as long as its segregated into clear topics, i.e. basic details, career objective, skills, abilities, work history, references, etc etc.
you can do pretty much everything in bullet points, except for the career objective. that should just be a few sentences on what you want to achieve in the job and why you think your right for that particular job.
also, don't just claim things blindly on your resume, you need to illustrate and back things up. i.e. : it's all well and good to say "i'm a fast learner" and "i'm a problem solver", but without having any examples or proof to back this up, it becomes meaningless. beacuse anyone can say that. i could claim i'm decendant of the english royal family in my resume if i wanted, etc etc

I've been in charge of hiring 50k+/yr employees. If you send me a basic resume I will fix it for you. Put the file in a drop box and give me the link in a pm.
Tell me as much as you can about how you want to sound in interviews, and what the job is.

yeah, alot of people get confused and think that to sound smart they have to pull out all the biggest words in their vernacular, but it's really the opposite. plain english is really the best way to get your point across. be clear, concise, and direct to the point. theres no point creating convuluted sentences with confusing words, trying to pack too much into each sentence etc.
just short sharp and to the point with a clear meaning is what works the best.
