A solution maybe

Well I was thinking the other day... remember that whole OTD fiasco a month or so ago? Some people felt that a lot of the posting in OTD is taking up the space and no one ever contributes to other forums... well here's something that might solve both problems: earning OTD posts.

Like for every one post in, say FAQs, Support Group Central, grow logs, contams, hunting, or a Cultivation forum you earn 5 posts in OTD. This way A)helps spread knowledge, the whole purpose of this site and B) since you have to earn your OTD posts it will help stop nonsense space-wasting posts like 'd00d my b4lls itch and scratching them is M4xX H4xXoRz'

well OTD is actually a ton better now and there's not any problems and i don't even know if this is feasable, but it was just an idea

This would cause OTD people to make nonsense posts in other forums just to be able to post in OTD....

true, but those forums have strict rules. if someone goes into FAQs and posts some stupid shit, they're banned. Like when OTD closed. I guess the pub could still be free, but even when OTD was down the Pub went slower compared to the traffic OTD gets on a daily basis.

i understand what your trying to acomplish, but i dont think its a good idea at all. you shouldnt have to "earn" points to post. i dont like non-sense posts either, so i just dont read them.
