Then I'm glad you aren't the one making such decisions.

I'm Okay with allowing illegals to live in the U.S., as long as they are repressed. They should not be able to get free anything from the government, not even education or health care.

If a child of an illegal alien is educated in the us illegally, then the parents should be held liable for expenses.

Also, all laws apply to illegals, including the one where all children are required to go to school.

I realize that this is a fear-driven country, so there is
apprehension about "outsiders"

It has nothing to do with "fear of outsiders". Illegal immigrants
cause problems. They often smuggle drugs, are "undesirables"(thieves,
etc...), and they can upset things in this country(over-population,
receiving benefits of our nation while not being legitimate and
contributing citizens, etc...).

I'm just as wary of those who are already citizens...I don't see how
protecting a border makes us safer.

Hehe.. funny point. But seriously, by enforcing the borders we
have control over what happens in our country. It is not in the
best interests of any country to allow tons of undocumented people in.

The points that you are making have some validity, but undocumented people arent the problem. They contribute the same way any consumer contributes. The only place that there may be a disparity is in tax-funded programs that they may benefit from. Of course, if we just got rid of 90% of the tax-funded programs, this wouldnt be an issue.

It isnt like these people come here and live in rent-free housing eating free food and live in the lap of luxury. There will always be people who successfully manipulate the system. Most of those people are citizens...some are not...that problem is a separate issue from the border problem.

And as far as overpopulation...Please...I have been all over this country, and I have seen no shortage of wide open space...

Actually, I have heard that most of them send a lot of money home
and therefore keep that money out of the American economy.

The only place that there may be a disparity is in tax-funded
programs that they may benefit from. Of course, if we just got rid of
90% of the tax-funded programs, this wouldnt be an issue.

Bravo. I couldn't agree more myself.

It isnt like these people come here and live in rent-free housing
eating free food and live in the lap of luxury.

Some of them do.

It is not unheard of for illegal immigrants to receive welfare
and other public benefits. But, by far the largest liability of
having them here is when we educate their children. They send their
kids to our schools. So taxpaying Americans spend a shitload to
educate foreign children whose parents don't pay taxes. Is that fair?

There will always be people who successfully manipulate the system.
Most of those people are citizens...some are not...

True.

that problem is a separate issue from the border problem.

People who are not citizens of this country are undeserving of
receiving the benefits of citizenship.

And as far as overpopulation...Please...I have been all over this
country, and I have seen no shortage of wide open space...

I never said that America is suffering from lack of space. I just
said that lack of space is one consideration in determining
immigration policy.

Another real affect of Mexican immigration are possible economic
problems. Most of these illegal immigrants are unskilled laborers.
When an oversaturation of unskilled laborers occurs in a
particular area, that will affect the economic makeup and health of
that area.

Are you now trying to say the nuclear proof bunker he hid in wasn't a mile deep?
