i don't think changing humidity teks would cause any problems, just be really careful moving them. why do you want to use perlite, though, if you have a cool mist right now? i use perlite, i want a cool mist.

i would say about a half or a third made it to adulthood, at lease, for me.

Stay with the cool mist. My buddy uses an ultra sonic and it works great, He doesn't have to always fan out the c02.

my buddy has an ultrasonic too, but he had trouble fitting all the tubes and 2-liter bottles together as described in the MMGG. he now has the humidifier hooked up directly to his terrerium, but he cant run it constantly because the air is obviously too humid. any suggestions?

you could hypothetically use a timer. they're avaiable from stores for use while you're on holidays for turning lights/tv/etc on and off.
