they sure as hell aren't trying to get back into the field. I think they feel safer with some tree cover.

Update: This is an ongoing issue with these landowners. I've been watching 2 deer trapped in their fence for the last 2 weeks. Today there is only one and they mowed the field. I saw crows flying off with meat today and there's a swarm of vultures. The surviving deer is literally madly chasing the vultures around. This is out of control. The landowners are there at the other edge of their property and are doing nothing.

Also there are only a bajillion deer in the world so if your neighbor is planning on eating them big woop. I'm pretty sure I passed about 4-5 freshly splattered deer on the side of the road today coming home from my trip.

Are these deer pretty young, like fawns... are they bucks; any antlers on them? If they're adult deer with no fawns I wouldn't even think about calling the deer police; I probably wouldn't call at all because it does seem like something a noisy 60 year old women would do or something. I'd go talk to the neighbour and ask him WTF is up with the deers LOL

If he's planning on making jerky then defiantly try to get in on that :yesnod:

Those deer are trespassing. It is the deers' fault, not the landowners. Leave those people alone. Plus how do you know the stupid deer wouldn't just get run over in the street if they left. Maybe they are safer behind the the fence. Those people are providing the deer with a safer place to live as far I'm concerned.

Well I'm happy to say that the deer family broke free this morning. I saw them yesterday looking for an escape and this morning they're eating the trees in my yard. They weren't getting enough variety in the field. Deer are browsers not grazers. They seem to be loving the apple leaves and hawthorn leaves right now. I do wonder how they finally escaped though.

The average white tail deer can jump over an obstacle that is not 5, 7, or 8 feet high but 12 or more feet high– taller than virtually any barrier deer fence. In fact, to the astonishment of deer control experts, the U.S. Department of Agriculture rates white tail deer as being able to jump 15 feet high.

They probably jumped it, 8 ft isn't tall enough to keep deer in permanently. They jump over privacy fences all the time in my neighborhood, they roam free here...and I frequently see deer that "appear" to be trapped in people's back yards.

I had no idea how old this was when I posted in it...

They broke free, but now they're back inside the fence?

Have you confronted anyone yet? Or is it all recon?

When I lived in Indy everyone and their mother hunted deer, and would share but you had to do the work to cut it up. I remember nights sitting in the kitchen with coolers full of deer parts cutting and bagging different cuts of the meat. The place smelled like a murder scene for a while but the amount of meat I had in the freezer was incredible. Well over 100lbs every winter. I was about to buy a deep freeze but they cost too much to run in the long run. Having consistent free meat when you're feeding a family is a life saver.

That's usually how it is with any family of hunters.
A lot of my friends grew up with scenes like you described, always seemed cool to me as a kid.

I once watched Prisoner#1 field dress a deer. I had gotten so hot and bothered that my ball gag had come out. I screamed in pain as he fashioned a sinew whip and then took me into town, hogtied in the back of his truck like some small town Sunday Delight. I was nearly passed out from dehydration via constant ejaculation, they brought me into the meat locker and only then did someone scream "God save us, that woman is about to get her legs cut off!"

Sounds like he knows how to seal the deal. What a charmer.

So that's why fee stays around..He administers the D.

You should have manned up in the meat locker, it was probably just about to get good.

That was my first thought. Pris was offering pieces of his foreskin for sausages and bratwurst but the meat locker said they couldn't take such a massive load all at once.

Animals? You mean 20lbs of steak on legs? If these deer wandered onto my property I wouldve promptly shot both of them and ate them. Deer is fucking delicious.

Yeah bit I replied to the old bit.

No deer or other wildlife here except birds and hedgehogs. I dont know man. Unless they are actively terrorizing those animals I think people are free to put up fences

The deer is trapped and traumatized. I haven't even seen it today. She's probably dead by now like her yearling. She is pregnant and her ribs are visible. Deer are not grazing animals but are browsers. She can't get the nutrients or forest cover she needs to support her body or psyche. It is illegal by the way. It's called harassment of wildlife. The land owner is a cop too. I did talk to one cop the other day who was parked down my driveway waiting for a meth house search warrant and he just shook his head and took down the info. He knows the sheriff lives there. There are too many houses around and in city limits so nobody can just shoot the deer.
