No, you are clearly misunderstanding me.
Yoga is an extremely broad term for a set of thousands upon thousands of practices and disciplines.
Some involve no movement at all.
Saying yoga isn't spiritual or mentally stimulating is simply ignorant.

What Americans think of as Yoga is an extremely skewed view.

As someone who is trained by Chinese immigrants in a traditional style, I have a bias against Japanese arts.

But Goju Ryu and Shotokan are both fairly legit if you can find a school with a good lineage.

I actually don't have the money to pay anymore, but I was lucky enough to disciple under a Sifu who isn't in it for the money.

I used to want to take up martial arts of some form....but I guess I have never encountered anyone humble about it IRL.  Honestly anyone I know that trains IRL, never shuts up about it.....And it almost seems to warp them in an unhealthy way.....I've lost quite a few friends to their addiction to perfection.




I could use some mushrooms too.......the time is coming :smile: thunderstorms and tree buds.




Is eating acid and dancing around naked qualify as martial arts training and yoga?  If so I have my double platinum belt.
