Paypal Business/Premier & Selling your music

So I checked my Paypal recently and was wondering why I haven't received a dime from my music sales.

Turns out Paypal won't receive payments from band camp unless I have a Business or Premier account setup.
I'm trying to sign up for a business account but it keeps freezing once I've entered my basic information and hit "continue".

I imagine Paypal is gonna hit me with some kind of fee for setting up a business account; and I imagine a Premier account costs even more.


Any other musicians here have a preferred method for selling their music? I'd rather forgo paypal.


P.S.
To those who say I should just give it away, I do! I let people name their price, so I consider payments more as a donation. It helps me sustain myself considering I've literally spent thousands on equipment and software licenses.
But if someone wants to pay nothing, I have no qualms with it.

paypal is a bunch of shitfuck.

that's sucks. i'm interested also in finding out some of this info, because i don't know nada OP. but i'd love to know where is the marketplace for music? all i know is Soundcloud, and you don't exactly sell music there.

Ya Paypal is bullshit. They won't have anything to do with ejuice sales or any ecig related stuff and will freeze your account if they find out you've been using it for that.
I'd just do it under the table.. if people want to donate give them the paypal address and tell them just to send it friends and family and not mention bandcamp.
There's other services like Paypal but not nearly as widespread.

lol i was just thinking about hitting you up for some ejuice, but i was going to offer to pay through paypal because i have like 30 bucks trapped in there and it takes a ridiculously long time to transfer to my bank.

I setup a business account, and now I'm wondering where all that money went from my band camp….


I'm thinking about contacting band camp directly.

But yes, I do need to setup my own means of distributing my music.
When I have the resources I plan to setup a website for my music and my photography.

I still need to work out a means for streaming and downloading my music to my fans computers.
Eventually when I have my own website bit coin would be nice.

u can get a free website, and you say you are giving your music away/donation type system anyway, so just put your download link and bitcoin address and your done

another way is myspace, i think u can set that up to play your music, and have links and stuff on there
