We can only hope.  Either that, or a never ending glance of fate.  A burden of eternity.

May I add that I hate this subject so much.  Everyone is right in their own way.  Their will.  The wills of man distract them from the 'possibly purposeless' existence. 

Or note, if we can't interpret death in the slightest bit, what makes us any better to interpret a deity that' could be far from our understanding?

I don't mean to sound pretentious, but you'd think on a psilocybin mushroom site people would know what it is to be taught by the universe - and to KNOW what they are given is undeniably true - without needing the verification of physical realm oriented science that has no clue what consciousness even is :lol:

And that's not to suggest that reincarnation in the form we're talking about is per se an absolute truth - but it certainly points towards a progression far beyond "You die and everything ends and that's that" Only - I don't think we can comprehend what happens after you die, that's why we can't be shown it.

It certainly wouldn't be far off base.

We're like tentacles extended into body puppets; all leading back to one greater self.
Some tentacles just remain distinguishable for longer than others, before finally retracting back into the heart of being.

think about how time would look if we didn't experience it linearly like we normally do

...perhaps in a way that lays it out visually as the way we perceive space with vision.

what would a human look like? you'd see it wrapped up inside-of-itself both as a fetus and as an old man; a child and a young adult... you'd see that wrapped up in another entity just like itself (being its extended mother/father)... you'd see all of its future-descendants and past-ancestors all coagulated into a time-stream of split-off organisms which eventually lead back in time to a little puddle of murk where it all started

so what happens to "time/space" upon your death?

Space is real.
Time is not.

All there has ever been is now, it is simply in a constant state of change.
We have brains that record and present the passing of change in a linear manner.
It's evolutionarily smart for a social creature.
But the users here should know that you can experience this "time" in a non-linear fashion.

yea time how we perceive it is not how it actually is. we view it from a linear perspective relative to our place in it

but objectively, well time can't really be described objectively very well because all our vocabulary is based on things we can perceive with our senses

but down to the nitty gritty, all life forms originate from a single source. we're basically all the same organism that's been splitting off from itself, and forming different sectors of space/time

Precisely how I explain it to people.  "The only thing that could be making us unique is our position in spacetime.  No man is above or below the next."  Except what is this single source of life anyhow?

The reason I don't believe it is because you can't trust carnies and their twisted world views.  I do believe in renunclenation though, which states that upon death your soul is transported to your closest uncle.
