Lucid dreaming is like taking a step towards awakening. To understand the lucid dream - to be able to cause and control it - means you are mastering one form of dreaming

there are theories that THIS physical life is also a dream - so merging this reality with the mastery over lucid dreaming can actually be a spiritually awakening process - one that I am working on achieving.

the overall goal is to be able to realize 100% that this reality isn't real, and to awaken to the next dream. Perhaps you'll be able to "lucid dream" in the next state, with enough mastery, and perhaps you will be able to achieve god-like qualities. Be able to birth life. Maybe.

the best reality check is to pinch your nose shut and see if you can breathe through it, if you're dreaming, you can :laugh:

I know its really hard to remember sometimes - but there are a lot of great tips for assisting in lucid dreaming

Like having an item that you carry with you to remind you of reality
Or looking at your hands
or reading
or looking at a mirror

But wait... I remember that I proved the last 3 wrong - I've been able to do all those while dreaming. wtf. I just remembered and thats blowing my mind. wtf....
