Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Same-sex medicine? Oh, nevermind.

Homeopathy is placebo medicine, nothing else. This is fairly easy to see (even for a believer) why.

Take two aspirins (or the herb from which aspirin was derived - white willow bark) for a headache. You get some relief. Take one aspirin, you get less relief. Keep taking smaller doses until you get zero relief. Then suddenly and magically you get tremendous relief from a dose containing a few atoms of aspirin.

This type of non-linear response has no precedents in medicine and cannot be demonstrated.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

When you say you have tackled all these issues what do you actually mean by tackled? Are you suggesting you have debunked all of these things or merely pointed out that the existence / non-existence of all these entities remains unproven?

Testing homeopathy should be fairly easy. You can ask a homeopathic doctor (a lot of doctors initially trained the conventional way have been involved also in homeopathy) to give you a specific remedy that supposedly has the potential to cure some symptoms. According to the theory of homeopathy if you do not actually have these symptoms, the remedy will induce them. Make sure that the remedy produces physical symptoms and that you are unaware which these are, in order to rule out the possibility of placebo.

The process is called "proving" in homeopathy. Homeopathic doctors insist that this has been clearly demonstrated (also in animals), but of course it is easy for anyone to test for themselves. If it actually works empirically, then any fairly open-minded person would entertain the possibility that there might be mechanisms that we are still unaware of, even if the homeopathic explanation does not seem to be a sound one.
