Chipotle chiefs apologize to NYPD for worker's 'hand up, don't shoot' gesture * 1
    #21048166 -

http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/chipotle-chiefs-apologize-nypd-worker-gesture-article-1.2059896

"Chipotle have apologized to the NYPD after a group of police officers heading into downtown Brooklyn restaurant for a nosh were greeted by an employee making a "hand's up, don't shoot" gesture."

"We work very hard to ensure that every customer in our restaurants feels welcome and is treated with respect" said CEO is a statement. "Clearly, the actions of this crew member undermined that effort."

Sounds like a bunch of retards working at Chipotle these days.

An employee did something you don't agree with. Naturally that means a bunch of retards work there.

except, cafeteria is usually grade D food.  chipotle has higher standards then that.  its fast food still. but at least they have morals about the source of their food.

the owners of chipotle arent retards but i completely agree that the person making your burrito is probably retarded.

when you routinely carry out criminal acts against your own community for decades, people tend to not like you. i feel terrible for these cops who couldn't get a 50% off burrito on their break from terrorizing the public. they probably had to go about the rest of their shift tazing, beating and publicly protesting their own boss on empty tummies. i'm also sure the employees who did this were fired even though chipotle isn't saying what they did with them.

so, business as usual here folks. 'murica.

"routinely carry out criminal acts against your own community for decades"

So where have the protests been "for decades"?

Or maybe the race pimps have just recently promoted this "hands up, don't shoot" nonsense since the Micheal Brown case, and the morons have fallen for it hook, line, and sinker.

I agree, I have been there 2 times, what a bunch of overpriced food. Yet, I know a few people that routinely go to the place.

Del Taco> Taco Bell> Chipotle.

Chipotle is the most unmexican mexican food place in the world, their beans aren't even refried and they don't even use chipotle peppers. Wtf is that shit??
AND their food is barely warm once you bite into a burrito cause it's been sitting out uncovered.

And fuck the NYPD, they should apologize to New York for being power abusing dicks.

dont fool yourself because they have a good sales pitch, you clearly dont
have a clue what food grading is, in beef a letter grade which has been
outdated for decades is based on the age of the cattle, grade A would be a
2 year old animal which is typical for slaughter

A - A < 30 months
B - 30 months < B < 42 months
C - 42 months < C < 72 months
D - 72 months < D < 96 months
E - 96 months < E

prime, choice and select refer to the quality of the meat based on fat
content, 'choice' would be the leaner of the three, you then have 2 other
grades which are commercial, this would be what's found in the grocery
stores as the less expensive cuts, you then have the utility/cutter grade
which is what becomes ground beef, all ground beef is cutter grade and the
amazing part, all of this can come from the same animal and you can get
'grade e' meat in choice from the grocery store in the form of steaks and
roasts

now, here's some info on chipotle and their 'local, sustainable, grass fed
beef' that they import from australia, a country with different standards
than the US when it comes to the hype of 'organic' and 'grass fed'
http://certifiedhumane.org/9-disappointing-facts-chipotle/

stop buying into the marketing, chipotle like every other fast food joint
cuts corners everywhere they can such as the commercial kitchens that cook
some of their foods which ultimately save time in the restaurant, those
same kitches are also handling the food for McDonalds

clearly they arent, they saw a niche market and cashed in by tossing in all
the buzzwords that have no real regulation to them but they were found out
and have been changing things every since, not chancing the foods to
reflect higher quality or better health (questionable from the start) but
to show a little more accuracy in what's actually in in it, like the
labeling that includes their GMO products

they're the same shit with a higher price tag and better marketing

Most of the food (I won't say all since I don't know) is cooked in house. Everything that I get on my shit is. Not that I really care, I realize it's still fast food.

Yeah. The buffets and cafeterias keep their food warmer ime. Chipotle needs to turn the steam up. I got $8 left on a chipotle gift card too so i'm gonna have to go back and spend it. Can't wait.

do you get the beans or barbacoa? those I can assure you are not. there is a
lot of stuff that is because it takes just a few minutes to grill it and toss
it in a pan where it simmers until it's used. no different than taco bell,
McDonalds or anywhere else. to me it's like a restaurant that opens a #10 can
of something and tells you how fresh it is

when I order a taco for $1.50 at the mexican places around here I get food
that was cooked to order, if I order the barbacoa it sat in a steam table
but it was cooked on site, not frozen, shipped from australia, thawed at
the ACME Food Processing Factory where they seasoned it, cooked it, shreded
it, repackaged it and then refroze it to be shipped to various other
locations around the country where they'd rethaw it, heat it, drop it in a
steam table and then pile it on a tortilla with the slogans of "local" and
"integrity"

What did I say? I said everything I get is cooked in house. Why ask about ingredients that aren't cooked in house? I don't give a shit either way, it just happens to work out that way. I enjoy it, and I don't really see that changing any time soon. I also enjoy the taco truck down the street, the locally sourced hot dog joint downstairs, the shit I cook in my kitchen, and whatever else.
