um. past: present.

i don't know how you can question my statement. you are acting as if the past is the present. it's not. it's a metaphor. the past had people much more able to pay for schooling and not even by their own merit, but by their parents, hence, allowing them to pace in school, without having to work full time to pay for the little time they have, to go to school and finish the finals with a good grade.

the present has what was from the past, and some different, and then is completely entirely different, given the economy, and the spectrum of influence and pay.
