liars and conformists.
    #20960795 -

An experience is an experience. Emotional experience and logical experience is communicated via symbols. Dictionary definitions are often used to limit communication of the truth. On one hand ones point of view is illegitimate because the experience and contemplation of the symbol has arrived at a seemingly less politically charged and seemingly higher experience of neutrality, but no it's not allowed because the dictionary only allows one experience, on two hand the other successfully limits any and all questions and different points of view with the smoke screen of the dictionary definition. It's not a problem because two hand always eventually becomes transparent to one hand and their lies are simply turned against them. Just wonder how so many supposed academics really expect me to take them seriously when they are so transparent. All my life they honestly believe that I am that gullible.

on that note: i find it funny that people insist (maybe journalism corrupted their minds) that the simpler the assertion, or explanation, the better; automatically.

why?

personally, i find that rhetoric is a lost art. things can be explained easily, but can also easily be explained away.

i find that with a TRUER sense of things, one's words should be able to cross into a higher denomination of intuitiveness, and also credibility (unless of course, despite of evidence towards the contrary posit) with or without a simplistic and smaller point of coercion.

AGAIN, of COURSE, unless there is suitable evidence.

One hand sets the definition, two hand enforces it under the guise of the correct definition. As soon as one hand obtains absolute control thanks to the blind efforts of two hand, two hand is disposed of.

I must expand my awareness of rhetoric.

Those who relax and have it both ways, then understand beyond simplicity,  simultaneously laugh at the baseless-ness and cry over the harm. Even the most adept writers among us parrot the same old fucking bullshit.

it's all a matter of one hand being indifferent to the other.
a wont for completeness to satisfy the mind; an attempt to make simplicity out of the holes, when there is no completeness; an attempt to make peace with the mind, and to be right, when there is no rightness, just a completeness of the mind, not reality.

The sad thing is that I am that gullible. So much cultural programming that one is unaware of. One part might be shattered, bringing sense of liberation, then the rest of the dissonance corrupts the freedom. It's not even above or below anything, it only feels above or below everything. Then that which one thinks they are not, they really are. Big fat fucking lies that shape so much more than what one ever imagined.

Who but a debt slave, or a brainwashed individual, truly believe that more rote training by a university would be beneficial, beyond getting a degree and maybe making more money?

Mostly, it's a means of leaving the nest with the same old entanglements of sitting in a classroom and studying, now worse I mean better than ever, combined with stress and distractions that make the transition less noticeable for the "student".

This supposed to at least be an attempt at a philosophy, sociology and psychology forum. This populist fuck-the-university-system-and-ivory-tower-attitude around here is puerile. Your vanity is keeping you from looking beyond "the system" and offhand socio-economic circumstances.

Where are you going to get all those writers, philosophers and scientists you're quoting and posting video links to in the other threads without research centers and universities?

So, no response really to my post, other than to attack it and protect your status quo.  But thanks for playing, it points out just how things "work" with the system.

short answer: times change

long answer: by having he same circumstances that they had back in time. now things are different. lets ignore the fact of internet.

those people back then had the LUXURY of being able TO HAVE AFFORDED their education. PARENTS now do not have that luxury; but it is expected of them. STUDENTS now do NOT have that luxury but they are expected to.

how in the hell is any of what you suppose even possible* by today's standards? oh yeah, by being born in a rich family, OR sacrificing the time you might have to study and invent and create, innovatively, towards PARTICULAR and NARROW curriculum's that set people IN THEIR PLACES among a SOCIETALLY ACCEPTABLE paradigm?

If you think you can "create, innovatively" in your field of choice without the university then do that.

really? then why...

only possible through university? i think you are mistaken. though, without a degree, you certainly cannot sustain life without poverty, without A: financial help or B: being racked with guilt over not living a life, but instead toiling over your work, to try and prove yourself in the world.
